61% of Celebrity Performers at Upcoming WHO Virus Benefit Concert Hate Trump

The World Health Organization and Global Citizen just announced a star-studded relief concert to provide some entertainment and express solidarity for folks suffering from coronavirus and the millions stuck in quarantine. Though some people, namely 63 million Trump supporters, might not feel the love from the festivities.

61% of the talent set to perform hate President Trump and nearly ¾ are proud left-wing activists.

CNN reported on April 6, that Global Citizen and the WHO (when it’s not parroting communist Chinese talking points) are putting on a “virtual benefit concert” that will air on major television networks on April 18. A list of the performers posted to the Global Citizen’s Twitter page indicated that the show will feature a majority of anti-Trump liberals.

The concert -- titled “One World: Together at Home” -- boasts appearances from 26 celebrity performers including the event’s hosts, conservative-bashing late night headliners Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, huge name musicians like Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish and John Legend along with actors Kerry Washington and Idris Elba.

For readers who are concerned that the left-wing pandering here has the potential to put Gal Gadot’s “Imagine” video to shame, they might be horrified. 16 of the 26 celebrity performers have a reputation of being rabid anti-Trumpers.

Specifically, the anti-Trumpers in attendance will be 18-year-old pop phenom Billie Eilish, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstong, Soccer legend and Women’s March supporter David Beckham, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, Billie Eilish’s brother and songwriting partner Finneas, Latin musician J Balvin, John Legend, country star Kacey Musgraves, Kerry Washington, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Stevie Wonder.

And, of course, event hosts Kimmel, Fallon and Colbert routinely bash the president. That’s 61% -- or almost ⅔ of the event’s talent -- rabidly opposed to current U.S. leadership.

In addition to these 16, three more entertainers like Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Idris Elba and Elton John are progressive activists. That means 73%, or almost ¾ of the performers are explicitly left-wing and champion global efforts for climate change awareness, open borders, and the LGBTQ community.

Though there’s no word yet on whether she’s planning on performing, Global Citizen and WHO credited Lady Gaga with curating the event. Of course, Gaga is a prominent Hollywood lefty who champions LGBTQ issues and often speaks out against the Trump administration.

CNN reported, “The event will broadcast live on ABC, NBC and CBS, and stream on Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.”

With the majority of the media preoccupied with bashing Trump’s handling of the pandemic response, it’s not hard to envision a Hollywood production like this taking cheap shots at the president and his supporters.
