In a softball interview with likely Democratic nominee Joe Biden aired late Tuesday night, MSNBC anchor Brian Williams urged the former Vice President to hold President Trump personally “culpable” and “responsible” for coronavirus deaths in the United States.
The New York Times front page on Tuesday tried to help jump-start Joe Biden’s moribund social media presence in “Trump Won the Internet. Democrats Are Scrambling to Take It Back.” Co-authors Jim Rutenberg (author of the August 2016 front-page screed arguing the media had a duty to oppose candidate Trump) and reporter Matthew Rosenberg strategized alongside the Democrats on how to regain the White House from Trump and his “loyalists.” The Times got awfully defensive on Biden’s behalf, labeling "extremist sites" that would dare to attack the leading Democratic candidate with "disinformation."
In a time when many Christians are going out of their way to ease the suffering of those who have contracted Chinese Virus, lefties are going out of their way to trash them because of their beliefs. On Wednesday radical progressives smeared Rev. Franklin Graham and his charity’s makeshift coronavirus clinics because the Christian and son of Billy Graham disagrees with homosexual marriage. Yeah how’s that for unifying in times of crisis?
Just a few weeks after declaring she was “happy” that the COVID-19 pandemic had America “embracing” socialism, The View host Sunny Hostin turned around and grilled Democrat Senator Bernie Sanders for touting socialism as an answer to this pandemic. As the 2020 presidential candidate called in to Wednesday’s show, he was given a mixed bag of questions. The only consistent questions in the interview were when the hosts invited him to bash President Trump.
Shelby Talcott at the Daily Caller has caught CNN in a bit of a sticky wicket. On Tuesday, CNN.com posted an article by Arman Azad with the good news that the death rate from coronavirus isn't as awful as assumed. But a month ago, CNN stars ganged up on Trump for "misinforming" the public by suggesting the death rate was under one percent.
Liberal media talking heads on Twitter continue to spew garbage at MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for being invited by President Donald Trump to speak at a coronavirus task force briefing. Conservative Fox News host Greg Gutfeld went nuclear and unleashed on the liberal media on Twitter. “[W]hen people do great things to help others, the media mocks their religion,” Gutfeld tweeted March 30. “[I]magine, if it were the reverse: [S]omeone did EVIL things, and then you mentioned their religious extremism. The media would be calling you a bigot. [S]crew these hypocritical assholes.”
The journalistic hand wringing over whether to stop carrying Donald Trump’s corona briefings live continued on MSNBC, Wednesday. Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski and ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl fretted over the dilemma. Karl, the network’s chief White House correspondent, insisted there is a “legitimate debate” over carrying the virus updates live.
On the Today show Wednesday morning, NBC weatherman Al Roker joined some of his other liberal media colleagues in trying to find a “silver lining” amid the coronavirus pandemic, namely that the deadly disease was improving the climate by forcing people to stay home.
If your so-called “buddy” told you almost a full term into your presidency that you “didn’t give a shit about public service” or that the only reason folks were tuning into your pandemic press conferences was because they are “scared shitless,” would you consider that friendly constructive criticism, or cutthroat negativity from yet another leftwing opponent?
CNN host Don Lemon opened his Tuesday night show echoing the nasty sentiment of Nancy Pelosi, blaming President Trump for people dying from coronavirus. Lemon conveniently ignored criticizing Democrat leaders in Louisiana and New York for their missteps, while pinning all the blame on President Trump. Unable to stick to the facts, Lemon smeared the president with the debunked falsehood that he called the virus, a “hoax.”
During MSNBC’s MTP Daily on Tuesday, anchor Chuck Todd actually interrupted the beginning of the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing to deliver a pompous disclaimer to viewers and warn that “these briefings have a tendency to veer in a lot of different directions, not all of them are informative or relevant in the midst of this crisis.”
On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough says, regarding the coronavirus, that "everybody saw this coming in early January." Yet on Scarborough's own Morning Joe, on March 10th, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio repeatedly downplayed the threat of the virus. On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough, criticizing President Trump, said:
