0 For 3: Big Three IGNORE ‘Trifecta’ Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Records

Not reporting one major stock record is bad enough. And yet, the ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows decided it was fine to black out news on three major stock indexes that hit new records.

The censorship of positive news in the stock market under President Donald Trump has continued with absolute impunity.

The Dow Jones closed Friday up 248 points to finish at 30,218. The S&P 500 increased to 3,699, and the Big Tech-heavy NASDAQ finished at 12,464, according to TheStreet. Fox Business referred to this major event as a “trifecta” of record closes in the stock market. Despite this, ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News all ignored reporting any of this during their Friday evening broadcasts.

Throughout the electoral cycle, the Big Three have made it a point in keeping viewers in the dark about positive news in the stock market and the economy that could have potentially lifted Trump’s reelection bid. The MRC documented 13 major instances in 2020 where the Big Three completely censored great news in the economy and the stock market.

In fact, on election eve, the Big Three ignored reporting that U.S. manufacturing had hit a “two-year high.” Reporting this news would have meant conceding that newly imposed state lockdowns weren’t enough to circumvent the strength of the recovery in Trump’s economy in the hours before voters would head to the polls the next day.

Apparently, networks were content to continue this journalistic malfeasance well after Election Day. When Moderna — a major beneficiary of Trump’s Operation Warp Speed — announced a nearly 95 percent efficacy rate in its vaccine, stock market indexes surged to notch new records. ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News ignored reporting this news to viewers.

This trend by the Big Three falls in line with a recent MRC poll of the effects of liberal media news censorship on the 2020 election. The poll of 1,750 of former Vice President Joe Biden voters in key swing states discovered that 39.4 percent “didn’t know” about how “five pre-election jobs reports from June 5 to October 2 showed a record 11,161,000 jobs were created in the extraordinary snapback from the pandemic recession.”

Furthermore, the poll found that if Biden voters had known about this economic news, “5.4% said they would have changed their vote; this would have swung Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to Trump, who would have won with 295 electoral votes.”

It is likely that the Big Three’s censorship crusade against good news for Trump on the economy and stock market had similar effects on the electoral outcome.

Conservatives are under attack. Contact ABC News (818-460-7477), CBS News (212-975-3247) and NBC News (212- 664-6192) and hold them to account for ignoring good economic and market news under Trump throughout the 2020 electoral cycle.
