The Regime Media are in mourning, in the wake of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s momentous announcement. Meta platforms are shifting off of fact-checking and censorship and are moving to community notes and more emphasis on free speech. 

As President Donald Trump prepares to enter into his second term, it is important to reacquaint ourselves with that media affliction known as Trump Derangement Syndrome. One of its classic symptoms is the urge to blame everything on Trump, This symptom was on clear display as the legacy media reported on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to step down from his post.

The National Archives has released photographic evidence of then-Vice President Joe Biden meeting with his son's Chinese business partners, yet none of the Big Three evening or morning broadcasts subsequently mentioned the damning new proof that Biden lied when he denied doing any such thing.

On Thursday night, the CBS Evening News blasted Trump border czar Tom Homan as pushing an unconstitutional, careless assault on illegal “members of the community,” complete with family separations.  By contrast, NBC Nightly News balanced excerpts of their interview with Homan with reactions from a leftist advocate.

The Regime Media went into full meltdown mode over the death of the 1500-page cromnibus bill that went down in flames once DOGE chairs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy became aware of some of the bill’s provisions. D.C. media reacted at the very un-D.C. pressure placed upon the cromnibus with equal parts shock and horror.

At this stage, the motive of the Madison school shooter seems pretty clear, but the network news seems hesitant to report what it is. Of course, this generally means that the motive is inconvenient to prevailing leftwing narratives or identity politics. This case is not the exception.

The murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson continues to dominate the headlines. In the wake of the horrific shooting, the media have taken the left’s cue and begun to provide coverage that “bothsides” and normalizes murder.

With the notable exceptions of the shooting of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare and the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, the news cycle appears to be winding down for the holidays. This might explain why CBS is re-running tired narratives on the CBS Evening News.

The CBS Evening News seized upon the opportunity to rekindle its passion for blatantly anti-Israel reporting by regurgitating an Amnesty International report blaming the United States and Israel for a “genocide” in Gaza. They managed to do so while blatantly omitting one word: Hamas.
