The Trump administration’s enforcement of existing U.S. immigration law has driven the left into a frenzy. Accusations against the president and immigration law supporters run the gamut from labeling them as horrible child abusers and family destroyers, to calling them Hitler and the gestapo, throwing innocents into third reich-era internment camps.
The anti-conservative Southern Poverty Law Center just learned hate can be expensive. The SPLC had to “apologize” to a moderate Muslim organization and give it a nearly $3.4 million to settle a lawsuit. It added: “In a public statement, the SPLC’s president, Richard Cohen, explained that “Mr. Nawaz and Quilliam have made valuable and important contributions to public discourse, including by promoting pluralism and condemning both anti-Muslim bigotry and Islamist extremism.”
Stranger Things star and Hollywood It Girl Millie Bobby Brown recently deleted her Twitter account after being made the subject of satirical homophobic memes.
Elton John has been contributing to the social media censorship debate, urging social media companies to further crackdown on hate-speech. If they don’t wise up, the legendary singer is calling for a boycott.
An Israeli Minister has demanded that Twitter police the official Hamas and Hezbollah social media accounts for being “actively engaged in inciting and executing attacks against innocent civilians.”
Ah, graduation season. A time when fresh young minds leave their liberal ivy league bubbles, but not before receiving one last course of progressive indoctrination at the hands of some tinseltown pop culture politician. This past weekend, Dartmouth University’s Class of 2018 received their diplomas and a charming send off from Dartmouth alum, Mindy Kaling.
Openly socialist director David Simon brought his classic writing style to political commentary by telling Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey: “Die of boils, @jack.”
By no means does actress Jodie Foster consider herself a political person and, when pressed, she’ll admit that Hollywood types should not be held by the public to have enlightened political opinions. Still, that doesn’t deter her from being very anti-gun. And with the subject of “sensible” gun laws in vogue, Foster is using her platform to promote firearm restrictions, because how on earth does a human being even require such a weapon?
It’s safe to say that former President Barack Obama has been working overtime to keep his legacy afloat, especially with President Donald Trump dismantling many of his administration's policies. Some have even said that Obama’s massive deal with Netflix for streamable content suggests that he may be trying a little too hard. Enter Chris Rock.
Here’s a newsflash for conservatives: Scientists in Australia have completed a recent study showing that people with an anti-gay bias tend to exist at the lower end of the intelligence spectrum. In other words, if you’re not down with gay and everything that goes with it, not only are you less open-minded, but you’re a big dum-dum too.
Don’t you love it when lefties lecture you about your own Christian faith, twisting the words of Christ in an attempt to guilt you out of your own morals and standards? Granted, everyone, especially Christians, should be aware of proper charity to marginalized individuals, but when liberals preach that it’s not so much about loving the sinner as it is blindly accepting the tenets of an anti-Christian gay agenda, it becomes clear that it’s not about leveling the playing field.
Once again, Twitter’s public safety bureau has slipped up in its charade of making the internet safer for free speech. The platform’s recent censorship of gun-rights activist Kaitlin Bennett (while overlooking death threats against her) has revealed its desire to terminate outspoken conservativism where it can.
Within hours of her racist remarks towards Valerie Jarrett, Roseanne’s hugely successful sitcom was reduced to a pile of rubble. On Monday, ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey stated, “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant, and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”
While several prominent science and tech gurus moonlight as liberal mouthpieces for the mainstream media, there’s one tech giant who might be on the path to forming his own opinion as to how dishonest journalism has become.
Did you notice an awful lot of gay characters in movies during 2017? If so, you’re an ignorant bigot. According to the analysts at GLAAD, all major Hollywood studios performed poorly in terms of forwarding the gay agenda on the big screen. Oh sure, there were two movies entirely dedicated to gay themes, but “Love, Simon” and “Call Me By Your Name” are not enough.
There are 60 dead Palestinians at the Israel/Gaza border at the moment, and Israel has been the one doing the shooting. Sounds bad, right? Well if you’ve got your head up your you know what and follow the narrative of the Washington Post you might be led to believe that America’s ally is encouraging mass murder while we look on smiling.
Kids should always be encouraged to find a hobby or a constructive outlet for their young minds. Maybe sports is a good option for some, or taking up a musical instrument works better for others. How about getting children interested in drag culture at a very young age? Does wearing platform shoes or a miniskirt sound like something a your young son would enjoy?
The liberal Twitterverse has been having another meltdown over the U.S. embassy moving to Jerusalem. Now many of them are continuing their narrative of Trump as head of a mob family, whose political ties to Israel, another totalitarian regime, are putting the poor Palestinian people at risk.
Two of the three major news networks have been feeding into the pro-hamas, anti-Israel/anti-Trump propaganda this week. Both ABC and NBC’s evening news segments showed blatant bias towards the violent protesters in Gaza during the official unveiling of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, completely disregarding Hamas’s history of manufacturing casualties real and fake to bring international condemnation on Israel.
