MSNBC host, NBC News Clinton campaign correspondent and senior Clinton apologist Andrea Mitchell offered her latest Clinton spin on Tuesday during the Republican National Convention (RNC) by whining that the Clinton scandals ranging from Whitewater to Hillary’s e-mail scandal “will never be resolved to the satisfaction of the conspiracy theorists.”

The journalists at CBS are obsessing over musicians who are angry at Donald Trump’s use of their music. Evening News anchor Scott Pelley combined this with the alleged plagiarism of Melania Trump, chiding, “Borrowed words are controversial and borrowed music, too.” 

In the wee hours of Tuesday morning during CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, the panel discussion descended into borderline chaos as guests and the host engaged in a wild shouting match. It all started when the topic of Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s convention speech was brought up. “Rudy Giuliani's speech tonight was rousing. It was. Early in MSNBC’s Tuesday night coverage of the Republican National Convention (RNC), Hardball host Chris Matthews took a brief shot at MSNBC’s parent company Comcast buying them from General Electric (GE) five years ago and admitted the RNC attendees have been “incredibly friendly” but doubted Democrats will do the same at their convention to conservative media members.

On Tuesday, the Morning Joe conversation was dominated by allegations of Melania Trump plagiarizing her highly anticipated speech last night from portions of Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. The mainstream media’s double standard radiated when the focus shifted to past allegations of plagiarism by prominent Democrats Joe Biden and Barack Obama. 

In the midst of the RNC convention, CNN New Day host Chris Cuomo became unhinged during an interview with three conservative commentators as he pounced on the current GOP reluctance to discuss accusations of plagiarism against Melania Trump.

GQ magazine is already in the tank for Obama. Editor Jim Nelson declared him “Mount Rushmore great” in an article titled “Why Obama Will Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents of All Time.” But GQ basketball writer Bethlehem Shoals (real name: Nathaniel Friedman) took the liberal ardor to a new low on Twitter on Monday night, after grieving Benghazi mom Patricia Smith spoke to the Republican…

On Tuesday, all three network morning shows worried over the Republican convention being too conservative and throwing “raw red meat” to the party base. On NBC’s Today, co-host Savannah Guthrie fretted: “Okay, let’s talk about the tone of last night. There was a lot of red meat for the base. Is that good strategy? Is this going to be a base election?”

PBS covered the Republican convention for three hours of prime time on Monday night, in association with its pubcasting buddies at NPR. But they were allergic to showing any Hillary-scandal films that were offered on the convention floor.
