MSNBC’s Hardball host Christ Matthews was joined on Thursday night by Democratic Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy to discuss the 2016 election, but quickly devolved into the pair lamenting the lack of nationwide gun control with Malloy taking a veiled but vicous shot at the late Chris Kyle and his efforts to take troubled veterans to the gun range wher ehe would also counsel them.

In his Politico column posted on Wednesday, National Review editor-in-chief Rich Lowry mounted a thorough trouncing of the liberal media for their universal gushing over Donald Trump’s win in the New York primary despite the fact that a landslide had long been predicted as a possibility.

While ABC journalists grilled Ted Cruz on Monday with a Good Morning America town hall, they offered softballs to Hillary Clinton on Thursday. George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts showcased questions from the left and included queries about hot sauce and Saturday Night Live. At no time was there a question on Benghazi or the Democrat’s secret e-mail server and the scandal around it.

Thursday morning, NBC co-anchor Savannah Guthrie pressed GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump on the Republican platform’s stance on the “unborn child.” NBC Today hosted a “Donald Trump Town Hall” April 21. During the live broadcast event, Guthrie asked Trump if he would change his platform’s position on abortion.
