MSNBC political analyst and former Clinton campaign aide Zerlina Maxwell claimed first time caucus-goer turnout in Iowa was low Monday night because white people don’t care about “brown kids in cages.” She also blamed “systemic racism” for Iowa having a white voter majority.

After talk radio host Rush Limbaugh disclosed on Monday that he had been diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer, on Tuesday, NBC’s Today show just couldn’t resist the urge to snipe at the conservative icon. In the midst of a report on the troubling health news, a vicious tweet was featured of a left-wing celebrity claiming that Limbaugh “doesn’t think poor people deserve” medical care.

Telemundo News’ coverage of the Iowa Caucus remind us all of how critically important illegal immigration is for the network. Correspondent Vanessa Hauc chose to insert drama -as if any more were needed given the voting chaos- to emphasize the subject of immigration, one that has been completely absent from the Democrat primary campaign (didn´t they love undocumented immigrants?).

On Tuesday, anchors, correspondents, and pundits on CBS This Morning all agreed that the real winner of the Democratic Iowa caucus was actually President Trump, given all the chaos that plagued the contest. The network broadcast labeled Monday’s inauspicious start to the 2020 Democratic primary season an “embarrassment” that only “helps the President.”  

Tuesday, Joy Behar shared her selfish wish that tonight’s State of the Union address would turn chaotic with President Trump going “completely nuts” over impeachment. The co-host of The View also hoped Democrat House Managers would openly mock the President during his speech.

On NBC’s Today show Tuesday morning, correspondent Cynthia McFadden seemed to mock Democrats for Monday night’s Iowa caucus debacle as she declared: “I think the headline is it wasn’t the Russians in this case. It appears to be the Democrats who did it to themselves.”

According to a new Media Research Center study, for each minute the broadcast evening newscasts spent talking about the President’s successful economic programs, viewers heard 77 minutes about the Democrats’ impeachment push, a massive disparity. Overall, coverage of the President was 93% negative during the last four months, reaching 95% negative in January 2020.
