ABC: Don’t Worry about Terror Because Gun Violence So Much Worse
December 7th, 2015 5:08 PM
Good Morning America’s Dan Harris on Sunday lectured viewers on worrying too much about terrorism and instead pushed gun control. Regarding Islamic plots, he wondered, “But, how serious is this threat, really?” Harris noted, “Terror attacks are actually quite rare. Since 9/11, Islamic extremists have killed 45 Americans on U.S. soil. Five a year, on average.”
The CAIR Effect: See Something, Say Nothing
December 4th, 2015 7:46 PM
As news of the San Bernardino jihadist shootings blared on airport TVs, I spotted a TSA monitor flashing the now ubiquitous message: "If you SEE something, SAY something."
The warning should be followed with a big "LOL" and a winky-blinky, just-kidding emoji. It's one of the emptiest slogans in modern American life.

Terrorists As 'Tourists'
November 24th, 2015 8:47 PM
President Obama has put a new twist on the Islamic invasion now taking place across Europe and the United States. Speaking to reporters last week during his visit to the Philippines, the president compared Syrian refugees to "tourists," saying they are no bigger a threat than people who come to sightsee and visit attractions.

November 13th, 2015 3:58 PM
We are moving beyond the "who won" stage in these Republican debates into the "who would you be most comfortable with as president" and "who is best equipped to defeat Hillary Clinton?" The answer to both questions seems to be Sen. Marco Rubio.
Cosmopolitan's Porno Holiday Gift
November 13th, 2015 3:30 PM
The cover story of the December edition of Cosmopolitan is titled, "Sex Wish List." The article contains 24 sexual suggestions, all of which exploit the Christian and Jewish holidays. Most conspicuously, it includes a "Sex-Vent Calendar," a rip-off of the Advent calendar prized by Christians.
Jesus Christ: The Key to Unlocking All of Scripture
November 10th, 2015 11:57 PM
For years, I have wanted to write a book to share my enthusiasm for the Old Testament and explain how it is foundational to the New Testament as the first act of a two-act play. I have wanted to show the many ways Christ is foreshadowed in the Old Testament My new book, The Emmaus Code: Finding Jesus in the Old Testament, is the culmination of a project I began some 20 years ago.
The Media's Uneven Treatment of Sexual Abuse
November 5th, 2015 11:54 AM
The media are pushing Spotlight, the movie that opens on Friday about the Boston Globe team that exposed priestly sexual abuse in the Boston Archdiocese prior to 2002. But there is little interest in this issue when non-Catholics are implicated in such crimes. As recent cases show, many courts around the nation evince disparate treatment as well.

November 4th, 2015 9:32 PM
It looks like those elitist harridans on ABC's The View learned nothing from the national backlash over their mockery of nurse Kelley Johnson less than eight weeks ago.
