Sorry, Hillary, You're So 'Yesterday'

June 17th, 2015 5:16 PM
In her reintroduction speech on Roosevelt Island in New York last Saturday, Hillary Clinton hit all the boilerplate liberal Democrat notes: The New Deal, big government, soak the rich, evil Wall Street... you know the song because the music is from a familiar score.

Liberal Media Brilliantly Shielding Immigration From Robust Debate

June 13th, 2015 11:09 PM
I'm impressed by the coolness and steadiness of our media in suppressing any news about immigration. It's as if they've built a triple-layer fence with border guards around immigration topics. And guess what? Their fence is working!

Are the Media Just Hillary's Fair-Weather Friends?

June 9th, 2015 12:10 AM
Don't you find it a bit odd that two glaringly contradictory narratives surround Hillary Clinton's bid for the presidency — inevitability and "she's in trouble"?

Immigration Advocates Frightened By Little Ol' Me

June 4th, 2015 8:41 PM
Third World immigration advocates Frank Sharry, Ali Noorani and Marc Andreessen aren't shy about rushing to the press with pabulum quotes about how wonderful immigration is, but they don't want to debate me, even to lie about all those benefits. They don't want you to think about immigration at all.

The O'Malley Factor In the 2016 Race

June 2nd, 2015 8:21 PM
"If O'Malley doesn't win the [Democratic] nomination, he will at least have raised his profile for another run in four or eight years. By then, maybe he can find a better platform to run on than the one he has now."

Leftist Censors Strike Again

June 2nd, 2015 3:31 PM
I have often maintained that threats to freedom of expression in this country come predominantly — probably exclusively — from the political left. The censoring of a pro-life student club in a Las Vegas high school is a recent egregious example.

Jorge Ramos Can Stay, It's Matt Lauer Who Has to Go!

May 28th, 2015 2:56 PM
I finally found a Mexican willing to do a job no American will do! I have an explosive book on the No. 1 issue in the country coming out next week, I've already written 10 New York Times best-sellers -- I'd be on a postage stamp if I were a liberal -- but can't get an interview on ABC, NBC or CBS. Only Mexican-born Jorge Ramos would interview me on his Fusion network. Yay, Jorge!

No Memorial Day for Inner-City Dead

May 27th, 2015 1:03 PM
"Black lives matter!" was the chant heard at recent demonstrations in cities and towns from Ferguson, Missouri, to Baltimore, Maryland. Yes, they do matter, but apparently not so much to some other blacks. Only when a white police officer shoots or engages in other behavior that results in the death of a black man do black lives seem to matter.

There Were Plenty of Reasons to Take Out Saddam, None to Keep Him

May 20th, 2015 9:09 PM
Contrary to the fairy tale the left has told itself since Obama truculently gave away America's victory in Iraq, our argument wasn't that we had to invade Iraq because of Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. And the left's argument certainly was not: "He doesn't have any WMDs!" Our argument was: There were lots of reasons to get rid of Saddam Hussein, and none to keep him.

Stephanopoulos Scandal Raises Question: Who Is/Should Be a Journalist?

May 19th, 2015 4:27 PM
"[T]oday, it appears that if you are blonde, have great legs, or worked in the White House and can read a teleprompter, bammo, you are a journalist."

Contest: What Will the GOP Cave On Next?!

May 15th, 2015 6:17 PM
Bloomberg News ran a happy news story this week about the "surprising" development of Republicans joining Democrats in their effort to end our "incarceration generation" by the simple expedient of putting fewer criminals in prison. And Bloomberg wasn't just talking about the media's usual lickspittle, Sen. Rand Paul.

Exposing Obama's Flimsy Bipartisan Masquerade at Georgetown University

May 14th, 2015 9:00 PM
I watched President Obama's remarks on poverty at Georgetown University, and several things stood out to me, apart from his umpteenth swipe at Fox News.

A British Election Postmortem

May 12th, 2015 9:58 PM
BELFAST, Northern Ireland -- "Shocked," "surprised," "stunned" were some of the words used by broadcasters, columnists, political "experts" and pollsters when a Conservative Party victory was forecast by exit polls on election night.

The Real Takeaways From the Cruz-Halperin Interview

May 11th, 2015 9:20 PM
Liberal media honcho Mark Halperin really showed his "colors" as he tried to de-Hispanify Sen. Ted Cruz in an interview for Bloomberg Politics over the weekend.
