After the 2017 New Jersey and Virginia elections, where Democrats swept to victory, the networks the next day delighted in a “stinging rebuke” that “lifted” the spirts of Democrats. Four years later on Wednesday, as Republicans won in deep-blue Virginia and hold a lead in very deep blue New Jersey, ABC, CBS and NBC again tried to focus the results back on Donald Trump. 

Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli stunned the political and media establishment on Tuesday with a breathtaking performance. As of 8:30 AM on Wednesday, Jack Ciattarelli leads incumbent Democrat Phil Murphy 49.65 to 49.60.  One could also say he defeated the corrupt press

The Washington Post takes itself very seriously, claiming on the front page every day that “democracy dies in darkness.” On the editorial page, it declares itself “an independent newspaper.” But on Tuesday, the Post continued its favorite, decidedly non-independent, tradition: Endorsing the Democratic candidate for governor in Virginia for the 12th time in a row.

MRC analysts looked at 16 nights of primetime (7pm ET - 11pm ET) programming on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News from October 12 through October 28 and found an almost complete blackout of the Loudoun sex assault story by CNN and MSNBC. 

The last three months have been nightmarish for Joe Biden’s presidency. In August, his popularity started to nosedive, dropping precipitously so that, by late October, some polls had him dipping into the high 30s. But in comparison to Donald Trump, ABC, CBS and NBC had almost double the number of mentions of bad polling for the Republican. 

Late on Friday night, the National School Boards Association (NSBA) belatedly apologized for language that linked concerned parents to domestic terrorists. But all three networks from Friday to Monday morning ignored the organization retreating, “On behalf of NSBA, we regret and apologize for the letter.... There was no justification for some of the language included in the letter.” 

ABC and CBS have yet to report on the latest revelation in the ongoing crisis at the southern border: According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, authorities have detained 1.7 million migrants during the 2021 fiscal year, as reported by The Washington Post.

MRC analysts looked at all of the news coverage on ABC, CBS, NBC evening and morning shows, as well as CNN and MSNBC’s coverage (6am through midnight ET) from October 11 (publication of The Daily Wire investigation) through October 20 and found zero seconds spent on the following stories: Parents upset at transgender bathroom polices that led to sexual assaults of female students in Loudoun…

The Joe Biden presidency is collapsing and the networks don’t want you to know about it. Two just-released polls have found the Democrat at record lows. But between the evening newscasts on Tuesday and the morning shows on Wednesday, offered zero coverage of the very bad news for Biden. 

The Biden administration endured yet another policy failure last week as the President conceded defeat and announced he will reinstate Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy. The news came late Thursday night. But according to an analysis by the Media Research Center, the network evening and morning newscasts from Friday to Monday have hid the reversal. 

MRC analysts looked at the broadcast evening news programs from October 14, 2020 to October 13, 2021 and found ABC World News Tonight, CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News spent a measly 18 minutes, 4 seconds on all of Hunter Biden’s scandals in a year’s time.

YouTube will be hosting a special series featuring Vice President Kamala Harris for kids, The Hill reports.

It’s not just Joe Biden senior moments that the media are suppressing. His gaffe-prone Vice President Kamala Harris is having her controversies buried as well. Last week, Kamala Harris appeared at George Mason University in Northern Virginia and nodded along as a student spewed hate about the “genocide” committed by Israel. 

This week, Today host Savannah Guthrie won an Emmy for an ambush town hall in which she relentlessly hit Donald Trump from the left. On Wednesday, Hoda Kotb gushed, “We have in our presence an Emmy and an Emmy award winner. That Emmy, that was awarded last night to NBC News and Savannah.”
