Then, a panicky Capehart asked Beschloss: "are we going to survive this?" Answered Beschloss: "I don't know."

On Friday’s installment of The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle, he accused the Court of throwing acid in people’s faces, pushing the country towards an “almost civil war on the issue of abortion,” all because they can.

During its coverage following the Capitol Hill ceremony honoring the late Bob Dole, MSNBC painted the former war hero, senator, and presidential candidate as "a complicated figure" because he was a Republican who voted for Donald Trump. At one point, a guest even slammed Dole as "a big insult politician."

On Monday evening, MSNBC featured the views of two of its longtime presidential historians to lavish praise on President Joe Biden for getting the infrastructure funding bill passed, with comparisons being made to Presidents Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower.

Appearing as a guest on MSNBC's The Sunday Show, NBC News presidential historian Michael Beschloss charged that Virginia Republican governor-elect Glenn Youngkin "played the race card" to get elected, and was "perfectly happy to connect with Virginia's horrible, violent, ugly history, which is centuries of slavery, white supremacy politics."
