Three years too late, ABC FINALLY marshaled its massive research on convicted (and now dead) pedophile Jeffery Epstein and his network of powerful connections. ABC executives spiked their scoop during the 2016 election and on Thursday the two hour-long show mentioned Bill Clinton for just a scant three seconds. Instead, Donald Trump got more attention.
Thanks to Project Veritas, ABC News was linked to Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged long history sexually exploiting underage girls after Project Veritas's November 5 airing of Amy Robach admitting on a hot mic that the network intentionally quashed her interview with Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the exploited women. Giuffre has alleged she was repeatedly raped by Prince Andrew. According to the Washington Examiner’s Mike Brest, a two-hour, January 9 ABC special on Epstein is in the works, but it will not include Robach’s 2015 interview with Giuffre. The document Truth and Lies: Jeffrey Epstein, will air that evening from 9 to 11 p.m.
New York Times impeachment coverage continued with the paper casting as heroic the testimony of Maria Yovanovitch under a predictably treacly banner headline over Saturday’s front page: “Ex-Envoy ‘Devastated’ As Trump Vilified Her.” Sheera Frenkel was strangely unconcerned that powerful social media companies were squelching speech online by trying to memory-hole a name being bandied about online as the possible identity of the White House “whistleblower” -- Eric Ciaramella.
Last week in this space the hypocrisy of ABC News when it came to an internal whistleblower was discussed. I said this: “And when it comes a whistleblower who blew the whistle on the network’s protection of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein? ABC went out of its way to get another network to fire that suspected whistleblower - in spite of her flat denials. It doesn’t get more hypocritical than that.”
In the world of the corrupt liberal media, there are seldom conspiracies from within that come as a surprise to the public. However, the latest news regarding ABC’s involvement in burying the Epstein story was enough to shock even the most seasoned media experts. Fox’s Jesse Watters highlighted the cover-up on Saturday’s Watters’ World.
On Sunday CNN’s Reliable Sources, which bills itself as a program about “the media world”, failed to spend even a second of airtime on the week’s biggest media story: the revelation that in 2016, ABC allegedly suppressed a story about convicted serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Recall the furor over the Access Hollywood tape in the fall of 2016? In which someone leaked a tape from the NBC show, two days before the second presidential debate, to The Washington Post? The tape had then-presidential candidate Donald Trump making a lewd and repellent remark about women to the show’s host Billy Bush? Uproar ensued. Trump issued an apology and Billy Bush was forced to resign.
On Friday afternoon, Megyn Kelly continued her return to the news business with a bombshell interview as she sat down with Ashley Bianco, the former ABC News producer who was fired after only four days at CBS News for allegedly being behind the tape of ABC’s Amy Robach admitting that the network quashed her reporting about alleged serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
A refreshing dose of honesty coming from the mouth of a mainstream news anchor is an anomalous occurance to put it lightly. ABC’s Amy Robach provided just that when she was caught on camera discussing the network’s role in suppressing a story about Jeffrey Epstein Story. Townhall Editor Katie Pavlich appeared on Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss the case in more detail and the shameful cover-up.
Twitter was set ablaze Tuesday morning and likely sent ABC to curling up in the fetal position after James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released a bombshell video of longtime journalist and 20/20 co-host Amy Robach admitting she and the network quashed reporting from three years ago that would have helped expose serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Not surprisingly, the blindly partisan cable networks CNN and MSNBC have assisted their fellow liberal comrades at the Disney-owned network in refusing to acknowledge the Project Veritas video since its release, which came during the 9:00 a.m. Eastern hour.
ABC News found itself embroiled in a dark scandal Tuesday, after a leaked video of network anchor Amy Robach was released showing her admitting ABC had killed her story, which would have exposed additional pedophile allegations against investor Jeffrey Epstein. The network’s only response, so far, was to release a week statement on Twitter claiming the story was not ready for airtime. And come that evening’s World News Tonight, the network refused to address the scandal.
Our friend Mark Hemingway at Real Clear Investigations tweeted about a disturbing article at VICE.com half-lionizing Aileen Wuornos, the hooker-turned-serial killer. The title was "How Serial Killer Aileen Wuornos Became a Cult Hero: To her fans, Wuornos's story offers a powerful example of a survivor who defies the respectability politics of victimhood." The article really went off the rails when writer Sofia Barrett-Ibarria suggested Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh should meet a violent end like the prey of Wuornos
