In a disturbing example of just how far down the gutter they had sunk, Tuesday’s NBC Nightly News featured back-to-back reports hyping opponents of President Trump deriding him and First Lady Melania Trump in a sexual manner. In sharp contrast, their broadcast network competitors CBS Evening News and ABC’s World News Tonight were classy enough to leave the low brow attacks out of their programs.

Appearing on Tuesday’s Megyn Kelly Today, NBC News reporter Morgan Radford attempted to defend Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren’s dubious claim of Native American heritage by arguing that the liberal lawmaker “understood” it to be true. Meanwhile, anchor Megyn Kelly blasted Warren for using the claims of minority status to advance her academic career.

Anchors and correspondents were aghast that Trump could have any doubt in the wake of a recent “dire” United Nations report on the global climate.

Reacting to Hillary Clinton’s Sunday interview with CBS News in which she defended her husband Bill Clinton’s mistreatment of women, on Monday, NBC anchor Megyn Kelly and her panel of guests slammed the former First Lady for her hypocrisy and “many lies” in the #MeToo era. This week, the U.N. warned there are only 10-12 years to stop “irreversible” and catastrophic global warming.
