Apparently the fawning media coverage of Beto O’Rourke’s first day on the 2020 campaign trail was even too much for liberal Late Night host Seth Meyers. On his Thursday night show, aired early Friday morning, the NBC comedian actually took MSNBC to task for bizarrely obsessing over O’Rourke’s rental minivan while reporting on the former Texas Congressman making a campaign stop in Iowa.

On Thursday, the liberal media finally found one of the few things they could cheer on Republicans for. Of course, it involved the 12 Senate Republicans who voted to pass a resolution rebuking President Trump’s national emergency declaration for the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border. Or, as ABC News and NBC News described it, the “Republican rebellion”.

After getting dragged during the 2018 midterms for her schoolgirl-like fawning for “rock star” Democratic Senate candidate Robert O’Rourke, ABC’s Paula Faris was at it again during Thursday’s World News Tonight where she looked at O’Rourke with doe eyes and asked: “Can hope, change, and unity beat Trump?”

As if searching for a way to criticize the late 2017 tax cuts, the broadcasts networks aired a series of panicked reports about tax returns in February. Roughly 80 percent of Americans taxes were cut by the legislation, yet the broadcasts complaints fostered a misleading implication that taxes were not cut.

After spending weeks eagerly awaiting former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke entering the 2020 presidential race, on Thursday, NBC’s Today show excitedly declared “It’s official” and touted all the “buzz” surrounding the failed 2018 Senate candidate. Amid soundbites of O’Rourke’s announcement video, the morning show helpfully outlined his liberal platform.

Entertainment media continue to wage war on President Donald Trump and conservatives, with major networks, cable TV, and streaming services hurling insults and ignorant opinions at every opportunity.
