On a tragic day Sunday when former NBA great Kobe Bryant and his daughter were among nine people killed in a California helicopter crash, MSNBC's Alison Morris appeared to have referred on-air to his team as the "Los Angeles N*ggers." She apologized and claimed she had actually said "Los Angeles Nakers," but Fox Sports 1's Jason Whitlock isn't buying her explanation.

Given his tendency to just say whatever comes to mind, sometimes even the liberal Chris Matthews will float comments not considered acceptable to the official MSNBC line. On Tuesday, he blurted out that “I just don’t get that argument” that Joe and Hunter Biden should be ignored at the Senate impeachment trial.

Apparently not satisfied with Chuck Todd comparing Trump defense team attorney Ken Starr to a “bank robber” on Monday, MSNBC anchor and chief legal correspondent Ari Melber turned it up to eleven on Tuesday as he compared Starr to murderous drug lord El Chapo. His panel of left-wing pundits laughed with glee at the outrageous pronouncement.  

Perhaps in a sign of anticipatory anguish over the Dems' impending defeat, Joe Scarborough went on an epic rant this morning, trashing and sliming the members of the Trump defense team. Scarborough, repeatedly calling the team a "confederacy of dunces,"  saved his most repellent comments for Ken Starr. 

In the 9:00 a.m. ET hour on Monday, hours before the Senate impeachment trial resumed, MSNBC anchor Chuck Todd led a panel discussion about the possibility of President Trump’s State of the Union address being cancelled to prevent the President from having a platform to promote his agenda.

On Morning Joe, Democrat Donny Deutsch, panicked at the prospect of Bernie Sanders winning the nomination, says that Democrats who think Sanders can defeat President Trump are are "smoking something."

After years as a CNN analyst, Steve Cortes is a free agent on TV again. On Saturday night, MSNBC's Joy Reid put him up against three Never Trumpers. Rick Wilson was comparing "First Thug" Donald Trump to Saddam Hussein and his backers to Nazis at a Nuremberg rally. Cortes said unlikeable elitists like Wilson helped Trump win in 2016 and will get him re-elected in 2020.

Just like with CNN, MSNBC spent Saturday afternoon doing their best to refrain from using positive descriptors when talking about day one of President Trump’s legal team, instead calling their brief presentation as having included “a little false flag,” not substantive, and “weak tea.” 

During MSNBC’s 11:00 a.m. ET hour impeachment trial coverage on Friday, correspondent Kasie Hunt engaged in some mind reading as she proclaimed that “we all know” Republican senators “are horrified by what the President is doing.” The comment came as she and anchor Chris Matthews hailed Democratic House manager Adam Schiff for being at his “absolute best.”

Along with CNN, MSNBC reacted late Thursday with eye-rolling joy for lead House Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff’s closing remarks, boasting that the “emotional,” “impassioned,” and “powerful” media darling gave such a “cri de coeur” that “was a wonderful, wonderful thing to see.”

From time to time, the liberal media will not only have their masks slip, but completely give away the store in terms of their partisan motivations and strategy. During Thursday’s dinner break in the Senate impeachment trial, MSNBC seemed to have done just that, conceding the trial to be the left’s latest attempt to remove President Trump out of office because they don’t like him.

Amidst Thursday’s dinner break in the Senate impeachment trial, MSNBC’s panel kept alive the boring, nonsensical, and predictable living love letter to the House Democratic impeachment managers, calling Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) “excellent” and equating his team to a thorough landscaping team mowing a lawn or a captivating episode of Wheel of Fortune (with Schiff as Vanna White).
