CNN media reporter Oliver Darcy used Friday night's "Reliable Sources" newsletter to crusade for having Fox banned. His partner in censorship was the president of the NAACP, Derrick Johnson, who said "I wish it could get banned, quite frankly....Because it creates more intolerance and more racial instability."

CNN guest host of At This Hour, Dana Bash pondered on Friday if "'swearing off meat completely" is necessary to save the planet from climate change as she hyped a CNN Special Report that would be airing later Friday night on the future of food, hosted by Bill Weir.

Apparently, Americans don’t want to watch 80 minutes of CNN’s Don Lemon sucking up to Joe Biden. The July 21 town hall special bombed the ratings, losing not only to Fox News (which would be expected), but even MSNBC.

On Thursday's CNN Newsroom, Carl Cameron and host Alisyn Camerota, both a couple of former Fox News personalities, questioned the motives of their former employer's vaccine advocacy. Cameron was so disgusted with Fox and conservative media's vaccine coverage that he declared, "The problem with all of this is we have free speech and it doesn't entirely include lying."

On Friday, both MSNBC and CNN seized on Democrats still trying to tar Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with false accusations, nearly three years after he was seated to the high court. The left-wing cable outlets eagerly promoted bitter Senate Democrats claiming the FBI investigation into non-credible sexual assault allegations against the Justice in the midst of his 2018 confirmation…

CNN became apoplectic whenever Donald Trump called them “fake news,” but on July 21, they offered President Biden a nationally televised boost that can accurately be described as a “fake town hall.” The audience was "invitation only," the questions were pre-screened. Nothing interesting would happen. 

On Wednesday night, President Biden was granted the second town hall of his presidency (and third in the last year) by his adoring fanboys and girls at CNN and, not surprisingly, the Jeffrey Zucker-led network made sure that the 80-minute event was little more than a foot-massage (or smelling of the hair since that suits his fancy).

In a heated interview today on CNN, Joseph D. McBride, the lawyer for Capitol breach defendant Richard 'Bigo' Barnett—famously seen with his feet on a desk on Nancy Pelosi's office—condemned  the conditions of detention for the defendants, labeling them "D.C. Guantanamo Bay," and repeatedly accused the authorities of "torture."

Remember when the media joined Democrats in condemning the filibuster as an outdated practice that only gummed up the legislative process? Evidently journalists don’t, because when Democratic state legislators from Texas fled their state last Monday to sabotage the passage of a bill they didn’t like, they became the national news media’s heroes of the week.

CNN announced with great fanfare they're creating a "CNN Plus" streaming subscription service, but an executive bizarrely claimed “No, it’s not going to be ideological....We’re just not in that game. We’re not an opinion network, we’re a news network."
