CBS Drama: 'Men’s Rights' Supporters Are 'Misogynist Zealot' Murderers
Culture
It may only have one season, but CBS’s drama Wisdom of the Crowd has made every effort to put itself in the running as the top leftist agenda show on TV. The show seems to have a particular bent for feminist lectures, which is interesting considering it was canceled over sexual assault allegations against star Jeremy Piven. Sunday’s episode, “Alpha Test” was no exception.
'Madam Secretary:' U.S. Like Taliban, Didn't Give Women 'Equal Voice'
Culture
Sometimes CBS’s Madam Secretary wants so badly to fix the problems in today’s world that it blows logic to solve them. The latest episode, however, may be one of the most backwards examples to date. In a single episode, the hour-long drama tries to convince us both that the United States’ beginnings were as bad as the Taliban and that the Taliban can be progressive.

PBS's Costa Wrongly Suggests George Wallace Was a Republican
Some liberal journalists just can't get the notion out of their minds that George Wallace was a Republican, even though the former segregationist governor of Alabama was a lifelong Democrat. On Friday's Washington Week on PBS, host Robert Costa -- also a Washington Post reporter -- suggested that Wallace was a part of the Republican party's "past" as he recalled that some black voters in Alabama…

Nets Cheer Dem Upset in Alabama, Mourned GOP Win in Massachusetts
On Wednesday and Thursday, the broadcast networks were openly enthusiastic about the prospect that Democrat Doug Jones winning the Alabama Senate race could derail the entire Republican legislative agenda. In stark contrast, when Republican Scott Brown pulled off a major upset win in the 2010 Massachusetts Senate race to replace the late Ted Kennedy, the same liberal media went into mourning.

NBC Omits Popular Deductions Staying in GOP Tax Bill, Parrots Dems
Congressional Republicans were one step closer to realizing their hopes for tax reform on Thursday as it appeared as though the House and Senate had reconciled nearly all of the legislation. Hearing the recommendations and concerns of the public, the Republicans preserved the current tax code’s deductions for student loans, medical bills, and added a $10,000 cap for state and local taxes. But of…

In the wake of Democrat Doug Jones winning the Alabama Senate race the previous night, many in the liberal media were celebrating Wednesday as analysts predicted dire days for the GOP in the near future. Nets Blackout Damning Text Messages from Pro-Hillary FBI Agents
On Wednesday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was put through the wringer by House Republicans in an open hearing to discuss the derogatory text messages sent by anti-Trump/pro-Hillary FBI officials. The texts included name-calling directed at Trump but also included a cryptic message about an “insurance policy” for the “risk” of a Trump presidency. The coverage of the texts varied wildly…

CBS Donates 20 Minutes to Biden, Lobbies for Campaign: ‘2020's Coming'
CBS co-host — and Democratic donor — Gayle King on Wednesday openly lobbied Joe Biden to make a presidential bid. CBS This Morning’s journalists donated 19 minutes and 39 seconds to promoting the former Vice President’s new book. Although the hosts focused on women accusing Donald Trump of harassment, the resignation of Al Franken never came up. Neither did Biden’s long history of creepy touching…

CBS Compares Trump to Nixon, Touts ‘Ripped From Headlines’ Media Film
Journalism is under siege from a tyrannical president and it’s just like Richard Nixon. That’s the hyperbolic trope from the hosts of CBS This Morning on Monday, as well as Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. Promoting The Post, a new film about the Pentagon Papers in 1971, co-host Gayle King marveled, “Some of the lines that you hear Nixon say are exactly, Tom, what we hear today from the President of…
Even As Media Whine About Trump, Hostile Coverage Shows No Let Up
As yesterday’s throwdown in the White House press room made clear, relations between the President and the press corps are as bad as they have ever been during the Trump administration. But as the Media Research Center has been documenting all year, the media have approached the Trump presidency with unrelenting hostility. Our latest numbers show that coverage of Trump on the ABC, CBS and NBC…

Bah Humbug! Nasty CBS Comedy Spins Businesses as Scrooges
Culture
CBS’s Superior Donuts tried to get into the Christmas spirit with their Monday, December 11, episode “Homeless for the Holidays,” but their outright disdain for capitalism and businesses quickly put a damper on things. Of course, the show known for its extremist liberal views can’t go one episode without being a Scrooge to its conservative viewers (if there are any left).
