On Monday, all three network morning shows admitted immigration arrests over the weekend appeared to be nothing more than “routine enforcement actions,” however, that did not stop the broadcasts from continuing to fearmonger on the issue and warn that the “threat” of Immigration and Customs Enforcement doing its job was “still not over.”   

Wall Street experienced another record-setting day July 11, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 27,000 for the first time ever. But you would know little about that new record if you were watching the three broadcast evening news shows that night. And nothing at all if you watched NBC Nightly News.

Overnight, the rogue Iranian regime had their Revolutionary Guard spark another international incident by assailing a British oil tanker. It was the latest in a series of attacks by Iran, which included the bombing of several other oil tankers, but ABC News didn’t think it was important enough to tell their millions of viewers about during their flagship morning and evening newscasts on Thursday.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement were reportedly set to fan out across the country and roundup some 2,000 illegal immigrants for deportation on Sunday. So, the liberal broadcast networks did everything they could Thursday evening to get the word out and educate people on how to evade ICE officials. In the process, they suggested Trump was trying to terrorize communities.

On June 13, 2017, ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News spent a combined seven minutes (6 minutes, 59 seconds) playing up and glorifying the ill-fated lawsuit. But on Wednesday, they could barely be bothered to report on the outcome; 40 seconds total, with 18 seconds belonging to ABC and the rest going to NBC (22 seconds).

In the latest example of the liberal media siding with a foreign government against President Trump, ABC News and NBC News dedicated a portion of their Monday evening newscasts to hyping the U.K. ambassador to the U.S. bad mouthing the President in leaked diplomatic cables.

ABC was eager to accuse President Trump of jailing toddlers on Monday morning’s Good Morning America. Chief National Correspondent Matt Gutman hyped a report from The New York Times published this past weekend which relied on anonymous accounts from border agents detailing rampant disease and unhygienic conditions in one immigrant holding facility in Clint, Texas.

ABC chief foreign affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz got her chance to question acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan about the group during Sunday’s This Week.
