It is clear that many at Univision are still trying to process what happened last month. This much was evident on the most recent edition of the network's weekly public affairs program, Al Punto, as both host and guest struggled to understand the outcome of the election.

It took Univision/Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos all of three seconds to set the tone of the post-Fidel Castro edition of his weekly public affairs shows, Al Punto. With a single sentence, Ramos put the rest of the establishment media to shame.

We recently reported on how Univision was the biggest media loser from this election cycle, given all that was at stake for the network. Those ramifications have begun to play out in real time and are now affecting real lives.

As we mentioned earlier, no media outlet had a bigger stake in this presidential election (and lost more resoundingly) than Univision. On an individual basis, there is no larger loser than the network's star anchor Jorge Ramos. 

It is a matter of record that establishment national media lost big on Election Day, having been stunned by the election of Donald J. Trump to the presidency of the United States. But the network that had the most at stake and lost the most in this election seems to have also learned the least.
