Column: The Year in Favoritism Toward Liberal Bias

The Poynter Institute is a Florida-based journalism group that runs PolitiFact. On Poynter.org, they run a daily media report by Tom Jones, who sounds like Brian Stelter’s identically thinking twin. Their incessant party line of  liberal-media cheerleading and conservative-media loathing really came through when Jones made a list of the “best and worst news media” of 2020.

On Wednesday night’s All In on MSNBC, substitute host Mehdi Hasan associated Reaganism with “hundreds of thousands of deaths” in the pandemic, and suggested Republicans shouldn’t have the “audacity” to mock socialism, which apparently is easily mistaken for efficiency.

NY Times Still Carrying a Torch for Jon Ossoff, 'A Dream Son-In-Law'

The New York Times is still carrying a torch for failed 2017 Democratic congressional candidate Jon Ossoff, so young, so photogenic, so liberal. He faces Republican Sen. David Perdue in a January 6 runoff for a vital seat in Georgia. On Monday, reporters Reid Epstein and Serge Kovaleski gushed on the front page over Ossoff's resume. NPR Touts Biden Spokesman Won't Allow 'A Platform for Right-Wing Spin'

On Thursday’s Morning Edition, National Public Radio touted their Jen Psaki interview with the headline  “Biden's Incoming Press Secretary: Briefings Won't Be A Platform For Right-Wing Spin.” As usual, NPR thinks “right-wing spin” is the opposite of their reportage….which is “objective.” Not left-wing spin!

Media Ignore 'Most Admired Man' Poll After Trump Edges Obama

On Tuesday morning, Fox News viewers got to see that, for the first time, President Donald Trump has come in first place in Gallup's annual poll of "most admired man" of the year. But in contrast with how journalists swooned over former President Barack Obama the last time he came in first place, the other networks have so far ignored the finding.

Spanish Nets Silent on Warnock Domestic Violence Charges

The nation's Hispanic media excel at keeping damaging news for Democrats out of the airwaves. Take for instance, the collective, deafening silence of Telemundo, Univision, Estrella TV and CNN En Español – the four Spanish-speaking networks with national newscasts – on the domestic violence charges brought against radical liberal Raphael Warnock by his former wife. Mitchell: Federalism, Lack of Single Payer to Blame for Vaccine Lag

MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell theorized on her Wednesday show that the reason that the number of vaccines given out was below the goal of 20 million by year's end was because of federalism and the lack of a singe payer-type system akin to the British or Canadian system.
