Two Trump Nominees Pass Committee Votes, AP Portrays GOP As Bullies

On Wednesday, an early Associated Press report following the confirmations of two of Donald Trump's cabinet nominees employed extraordinarily strident and bitter language, portraying Republican Senate Committee which approved those nominations as de facto bullies who were "unilaterally" imposing their will. An evening revision updating that afternoon report expanded that portrayal to include…

Chelsea Blasts 'Fake Attacks;' Forgets Mother Fabricated Bosnia Attack

Friday morning, Chelsea Clinton called out Kellyanne Conway for allegedly “making up” a fake terrorist attack. While Conway has explained that she “misspoke,” Chelsea apparently forgot that her own mother repeatedly claimed that she was the victim of an attack that never actually happened.

Hilarious: NYT CEO Thinks Paper’s News Coverage Isn't Biased

On Thursday, New York Times CEO Mark Thompson stopped by CNBC’s Power Lunch to discuss the paper’s subscription numbers since the election and hilariously argued that the newspaper doesn’t display a liberal bias because “we aim to be objective and to tell people straightforwardly what's happening.”

Tom Brokaw Slams Rioting Liberals at Berkeley as ‘Outrageous'

Veteran journalist Tom Brokaw on Friday had some surprisingly tough words for rioting liberals at the campus of UC Berkeley, calling it “outrageous” that they would encourage violence over a speaker they didn’t agree with. Brokaw also heaped praise on Judge Neil Gorsuch as “distinguished” and wondered why Democrats were picking a fight.

On CNN, Reich Pushes Theory Right-Wingers Staged Riots at UC Berkeley

Appearing as a guest on Thursday's CNN Tonight, UC Berkeley professor and former Clinton administration Labor Secretary Robert Reich actually promoted a conspiracy theory that it was in reality a group of right-wingers -- perhaps linked to Breitbart News -- who were responsible for violent riots at UC Berkeley in reaction to Breitbart senior editor Milo Yiannopoulos planning to speak there.…

WashPost: Christians Bringing Sharia Law to America

Who’s responsible for perpetuating the Culture Wars? A good bet is it’s the one who casts the first Taliban/Al Qaeda/Sharia Law stone. So today, that would be Catherine Rampell, with a droolingly stupid smear of American Christians in the Feb. 3 Washington Post.

New CBS Comedy Bashes Chicago Police for Brutality

The new CBS series Superior Donuts premiered on Thursday night with a surprisingly free-wheeling, non-PC attitude. Within the first few scenes it’s mocking a millennial in a gender studies course and a businessman from Iraq. However, to exist in this country, I guess you have to make one offensive joke for every decent one, and demonizing cops is as insulting as it gets.

CBS’s ‘Training Day’ Features Politically Incorrect Cop Liberals Hate

CBS’s new police drama, Training Day, debuted Thursday night with the episode titled “Apocalypse Now.” Based on the 2001 movie with the same name and using the movie’s director (Antoine Fuqua) as a producer, the show diverges with its portrayal of a badass older police investigator who pursues justice by unapologetically playing outside the rules.
