CBS Continues to Censor Powell Saying Bill Clinton Is ‘D**king Bimbos’

CBS is still too embarrassed to share with viewers the low opinion Colin Powell has of Bill Clinton. On Wednesday, CBS This Morning edited a quote of hacked e-mails, removing Powell’s description of Mr. Clinton as a “a husband still dicking bimbos at home.” On Thursday morning, the network stuck to the script and avoided the comment.

On Wednesday night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, actor, comedian, and former Daily Show regular Lewis Black came on the show to discuss the 2016 election. If you vote for Donald Trump, you’re gonna go to hell,” Black stated frankly. After the…

Networks Cheer ‘Great’ Census News, After Downplaying Econ Weakness

When it comes to covering the economy under President Obama, the broadcast networks have a habit of covering good economic news, but glossing over or ignoring bad economic news. It turns out coverage of income and poverty data from the Census got the same treatment with all three networks covering “great news” on Sept. 13, 2016. However, a year earlier only CBS Evening News covered the data…

Appearing as a guest on Thursday's New Day to recount the top five examples of presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton making untrue statements, PolitiFact editor Angie Holan dubiously claimed that it is "not right" to say that Clinton "broke the law" in the handling of her State Department email when asked by host Chris Cuomo about the subject.

Model ‘Offends’ Twitter by Not Being Offended

This weekend, Chrissy Teigen embroiled herself in social media controversy when she refused to be “offended” at being offered “oriental dressing” during her in-flight meal. But when her followers erupted in anger over her calm, the 30-year-old model probably wished she could return to her salad days – the glorious time before Twitter existed.

Amanda Marcotte: For the Right, Hillary’s Health Is the New Birtherism

Hillary Clinton was recently diagnosed with pneumonia. Barack Obama was not born in Kenya or anywhere else other than Honolulu, Hawaii. So what do Hillary fact and Obama fiction have in common? Marcotte has a sexism- and racism-related explanation. “The feigned concerns over Clinton’s health strongly resemble the feigned concerns that Obama was faking his natural born citizenship,” she wrote in a…

Cynical NYT Hits Trump's 'Minuscule' Maternity Leave Plan from Left

No points for “compassion” for a Republican from the New York Times, even when the party’s presidential candidate makes a big move in a liberal direction, as Donald Trump did with his proposed child care mandate. Wednesday’s front-page story emphasized the cynical political aspect of the move, while indicating the subsidies were feeble. A related story from Italy treated as bizarre the idea that…

With the news cycle focused so heavily on the candidates’ current health and medical records this week, both candidates opened themselves up Wednesday by releasing new health information from their doctors. And by all accounts, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are health for being 70. But on Bloomberg’s With All Due Respect, co-host Donny Deutsch took swings at his favorite punching bag. “I’…

Nets Slam Trump with Powell E-Mails, Omit Bill Clinton’s 'Bimbos' Line

Just as they did Wednesday morning, the liberal “Big Three” networks steered clear of any of the more deeply personal attack against the Clintons in former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s e-mails, while continuing to rail against Donald Trump that evening. Despite hyping Powell calling Trump a "national disgrace," ABC, CBS, and NBC all ignored how Powell accused former President Bill Clinton of…

Mulan vs. the Diversity-Mongers

Let's get down to business. The casting kerfuffle over Disney's live-action remake of the 1998 animated hit "Mulan" brings honor to none. It's a politically correct tempest in a Chinese teapot. More than 90,000 angry activists have now signed a petition "to tell Disney that we demand to see them cast an Asian Mulan."
