Spike Lee: Columbus a 'Terrorist,' USA Built on 'Genocide and Slavery'

With the Academy Awards in the offing, Morning Joe had Spike Lee on today to promote his "BlacKkKlansman" movie, which has been nominated for a number of Oscars. Lee predictably seized the opportunity to bash America. He first referred to Christopher Columbus as a "terrorist," and a bit later claimed that the USA was built on the "genocide of Native Americans and slavery."

Digital Socialism? California Governor Wants Big Tech to ‘Share’ Money

Successful businesses boost the economy of the state. But should they be forced to share their profits with the state? California Governor Gavin Newsom seems to think so. In his “State of the State” speech, given February 13, Newsom noted that California tech companies make billions in profits every year.

Bloomberg's 'Anti-Trump Moonshot' Underlines Big Conflict of Interest

The Drudge Report is highlighting a piece by Politico's Marc Caputo headlined "Michael Bloomberg’s $500 million anti-Trump moonshot: The sum represents a floor, not a ceiling, on the billionaire’s potential spending to defeat the president in 2020." Question for media critics: How do the journalists across the "Bloomberg News' empire not have a massive conflict of interest in covering anything…

Detroit Free Press Demands Kaepernick Signing

Raising a red herring, Detroit Free Press columnist Shawn Windsor bemoans that if woman-beaters like Kareem Hunt are allowed to play in the NFL, then Colin Kaepernick should be allowed to play, too. The argument isn't if a woman-beater can play, then why not Kaepernick? The better point that Windsor badly misses is no owner has an obligation to employ any athlete who has crossed a line of…

Senate Finds No Russia Collusion, ABC Hypes Dem Disagreement Instead

After ignoring Tuesday’s news that the Senate Intelligence Committee had found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, ABC was eager to report on the story Wednesday morning after the top Democrat backtracked on his own committee’s findings. NBC and CBS still found no time to report on the Senate finding no evidence of collusion on their morning programs.

New TBS Comedy Mocks God as Lazy, Inept and ‘Incredibly Needy'

If the approximately 5,892,643 other attempts by Hollywood to mock and criticize God, TBS’s new comedy Miracle Workers has just given us one more vehicle that does just that. Though there is no mention of Jesus yet, the Christian/Jewish God of The Bible is definitely the target, according to a Vanity Fair article titled, “How Miracle Workers Turns Heaven into a Corporate Hell.”

Roswell's Otherworldly Obsession with Trump and Fake News

CW’s sci-fi alien drama Roswell, New Mexico continues to push its narrative that illegal immigrants are marginalized victims while legal immigration is pushed by bigots. In the meantime, however, the show also manages to throw digs at Trump and apparent “fake news.” Let the record show that these jabs make even less sense and are even more annoying.

‘Lethal Weapon:’ Border Patrol Agents are Corrupt Human Traffickers

In a bit of a twist from the standard pro-illegal alien stories on network television that bash ICE, the February 12 episode of Fox’s Lethal Weapon instead bashes the United States Border Patrol. The episode "Coyote Ugly," portrays Border Patrol agents as evil, murdering human traffickers with the L.A.P.D. coming to the rescue of an illegal Mexican whistleblower against them.

CNN’s Harlow Pressures Schultz: 'Commit' to Drop Out If He's a Spoiler

In the midst of CNN’s Tuesday Town Hall with prospective independent presidential candidate and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, moderator Poppy seemed to get a bit annoyed at her guest when he appeared unwilling to “commit” to dropping out of the race in the event he would spoil the election for Democrats in the fall of 2020.

'The Gifted' Producer Compares Evil Right-Wing Pundit to Sean Hannity

Fox’s X-Men series The Gifted has unfortunately been a reliable source for left-wing propaganda lately. This week makes matters worse by dragging down the show's right-wing pundit even further than before. Make no mistake, this is definitely how the series views the right.

Bozell & Graham Column: Whistling Past the 'Green New Deal'

The network news anchors couldn't be bothered by the unveiling of the "Green New Deal" on February 7. They weren't alarmed at the environmental radicalism on display. That's the exact opposite of how they panicked over the new Republican majority in Congress in 1995, which they claimed threatened "safe air" and "safe water" in the "most frontal assault on the environment in 25 years."

NYT’s Embarrassingly Rosy Iran Coverage: U.S. an ‘Evil Doppelganger’

Thomas Erdbrink, Tehran bureau chief for the New York Times, for some reason likened the United States to an ‘evil doppelganger’ in his coverage of the 40th anniversary of the Iranian revolution: “For Iran, a Grand Occasion To Bash ‘Cruel Enemies.’” That would be the United States. He went full hagiography over the brutal Iranian regime, with no mention of the American hostage crisis or of the…

Gutfeld Slams Bloomingdale’s, ‘Press Safety Patrol’ for T-Shirt Hubbub

Led by co-host Greg Gutfeld, three co-hosts on FNC’s The Five lit into Bloomingdale’s during Tuesday’s show for their nonsensical kowtowing to angry journalists by pulling a novelty t-shirt (found by a WPIX-TV reporter Allison Kaden) on a mannequin that read “Fake News.”

NBC Ignores Own Exclusive: Senate Probe Found No Evidence of Collusion

According to an NBC News exclusive that first aired during the 10 o’clock hour of Tuesday morning’s MSNBC Live, both Republican and Democratic sources on the Senate Intelligence Committee admitted they had not found any direct evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Despite the fact the exclusive was filed by NBC News intelligence and national security reporter Ken Dilanian,…
