Has liberal Hollywood just completely run out of original material? Season four of Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, a ditzy, nonsensical comedy series, makes me think so. The first six episodes released on May 30 are randomly sprinkled with snide comments against President Trump and conservatives in general, and even beats the dead horse of white privilege.

Over several days since Thursday, the same MSNBC that ignored reports of some Democratic members of Congress having ties to Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan, have been working in overdrive to highlight a handful of white supremacist political candidates who are running for office as Republicans but most likely will never be elected.

The catastrophic fallout from Samantha Bee’s “C” word incident received surprisingly fair and reasonable coverage yesterday from CNN’s New Day. Sadly, that lasted just twenty-four hours, when this morning on New Day, hosts Alisyn Camerota and John Berman had on comedians Maysoon Zayid and Alise Morales to discuss Bee’s vile comments.

MRC Director of Media Analysis and NewsBusters executive editor Tim Graham stopped by the Thursday edition of the Fox Business Network’s The Evening Edit and tore into claims by MSNBC host Chris Hayes and Chris Matthews that condemned Trump voters as racist and Republicans as golf-swinging, Wall Street Journal-reading, and sports-watching enthusiasts.

On Thursday morning, CNN and MSNBC pounced on their latest opportunity to ignore police violence-related stories that do not fit the narrative that cops mostly target black suspects for shootings and excessive force. In fact, there were two significant stories highlighted by ABC, CBS, and NBC morning shows which stand out as being ignored by the two liberal cable news networks.

In a report during MSNBC’s 1:00 p.m. ET hour on Thursday, correspondent Morgan Radford interviewed a handful of fringe white supremacist candidates running for office in 2018 midterm races, touting “many of them running on the Republican ticket” and claiming that “President Trump is talking to people” like them.     

During Tuesday’s edition of CNN Tonight, host Don Lemon echoed the left-wing talking point that President Trump somehow bears responsibility for Roseanne Barr’s tweet about former Obama official Valerie Jarrett: “We have to stop pretending that this President has nothing to do with it, that he’s not emboldening racists and racism and giving them a platform and making it okay.”
