Once again, FX’s Mayans MC isn’t shy about showing where it stands. After statements at the border, we now confront border-enforcing white nationalists. For a show the creator swears isn’t political, this series is becoming oddly political.

On Monday's MSNBC Live, Jason Johnson ignored the established history that President Barack Obama's adminstration housed illegal immigrant children in cage-like structures while they were being processed, as the MSNBC political contributor asserted that the practice is one of the ways the Trump administration is practicing "white nationalism."

In the aftermath of Friday's debate between Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke, fact checkers at both NBCNews.com and the Dallas Morning News nitpicked one of Cruz's criticisms of the Texas Democrat, as they struggled to find fault with him calling out O'Rourke smearing police officers as implementing a "modern-day Jim Crow" system.

If there’s one thing that CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin can’t be accused of, it’s keeping his opinions about President Trump a secret. He denounces the President seemingly every chance he gets. Lately, he’s taking to decrying many things the President does and says as somehow racist. During Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, Carlson called Toobin out for his hyperbolic wailing.
