'View' Brings on Clyburn to Defend Biden After He Makes Racist Comment

The View protected Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden for over a month after his former staffer accused him of sexual assault. But after Biden made a racist comment about black voters in an interview last week, the hosts decided to address it and brush it under the rug as quickly as possible, by bringing on a black Democrat ally of Biden’s to do damage control for him.

As Fox News noted on Friday, it took CNN 12 hours to cover Biden’s latest gaffe: asserting on a radio show Friday morning that if you aren’t a Biden supporter, “You ain’t black.” That disinterest continued into the weeked; after spending average of less than four minutes per day on the controversy, CNN stopped covering it entirely as of noon EST on Monday, May 25.
