Morning Joe is thrilled by Politico's hiring of the openly-liberal Sam Stein to head its coverage of the Biden White House. Joe Scarborough, far from questioning Stein's impartiality in his new job, was "really excited" about the move, adding that Politico is "really humming" now that Stein is aboard. "You never lose investing in Sam Stein," said Willie Geist. 

Watching someone as pathetic as NBC political director Chuck Todd flip out when confronted with his shortcomings is always an interesting spectacle to watch. A new Rasmussen Reports poll this week found that 52 percent of likely U.S. voters think many news organizations ignored the Hunter Biden story to help his father's presidential campaign. Among those following the Hunter Biden story "very closely," 76 percent agreed the media suppressed the story to aid the Biden camp.
