Appearing on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show last night, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accused President Trump of "racist and violent rhetoric" regarding illegal immigration. As a result, said AOC: "We're talking about people feeling unsafe. And no one should feel unsafe in the United States of America, and that includes our amazing, and beautiful, and productive, immigrant community."

In reference to efforts to teach black children, the president of the St. Petersburg, Florida, chapter of the NAACP, Maria Scruggs, said: “The (school) district has shown they just can't do it....Now it's time for the community to step in.” That's a recognition that politicians and the education establishment, after decades of promises, cannot do much to narrow the huge educational achievement…

Wednesday’s network morning shows provided an avalanche of negative reviews for President Trump’s Oval Office address to the nation calling for border security legislation to end the government shutdown, with anchors and correspondents offering up a staggering 43 statements critical of the presidential speech. By contrast, only a scant five critiques were made of the Democratic response delivered…

Speaking to reporters Tuesday afternoon on the West Lawn of the White House near to where the networks have their cameras setup for live shots, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway demolished CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta for being a “smartass most of the time.”

The announcement of Donald Trump’s oval office address regarding the crisis at the southern border has set the entire media machine on a tailspin of hatred and outrage. Trump refuses to back down on strong border policy, and progressives refuse to act sane. The worst examples include Hollywood stars on Twitter, who are screaming to high heaven about how wrong and “fucked up” this all is.  

On Tuesday, all three network morning shows were thrilled with Democratic Party talking points preemptively dismissing President Trump’s upcoming immigration speech as nothing but “malice and misinformation.” Reporters touted how liberal lawmakers were “demanding equal time” in the media to response to Trump’s prime-time address. 

Whenever there’s an impasse in Washington, the liberal media always demand that Republicans “compromise” and work with Democrats. Of course, their definition of compromise is code for “just capitulate.” Now, in an effort to end the government shutdown and from talking with Border Patrol, President Trump has shifted positions on what the wall would look like and what it would be made out of. Last month, normally progressive PBS provided a transparent portrayal of the devastation abortion inflicts on the African American community. The special, titled “Anti-Abortion Crusaders: Inside the African American Abortion Battle,” surprised conservative media critics by giving voice to the message that “the most dangerous place for an African American child is in the womb.”

Monday, the hosts of the View finally got around to discussing Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren’s cringeworthy video from last week, where she awkwardly opened a beer while announcing her 2020 bid for president. While many on the right mocked the apparent shameless pandering, View co-host Sunny Hostin actually defended it as “authentic” on Monday’s show.
