Over the weekend, Manhattan hosted “World Pride” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Yesterday’s music event served as Pride Month’s swan song, and who better to encapsulate last month’s absurdities than pop ne’er-do-well Madonna?

While filling in for Stephanie Ruhle during MSNBC’s 9:00 a.m. ET hour on Monday, anchor Chris Jansing promoted a book club created by Iowa Democrats in which members pledged to read campaign memoirs written by 16 of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates before the Iowa caucuses in February. Jansing touted how the “relaxed, cerebral idea” was “catching on big.”

Fox Business anchor Dagen McDowell happily announced that the U.S. entered a record-setting 10 years of economic expansion July 1. “You have more than 70 percent of people think the economy is good if not great,” she declared. She also mentioned how 70 percent of Americans “like their private health insurance from their employer,” and wondered what “advice” Democrats would use to campaign against…

Pride Month has ended. Big corporations have shed their rainbow skins; the media’s daily celebration of drag queen shenanigans and sexualized children has trickled down to its ordinary amount. But The New York Times managed one last gay huzzah, and it was a shot at the Catholic Church to boot.

Singer Miley Cyrus made her own contribution to progressive climate change hysteria at a concert over the weekend. During an impassioned midshow speech Cyrus screeched that earth’s time is almost up because of what humans are doing to the planet. She demanded that her fans realize “There is no planet B, so don’t fuck it up.”

On Joy Reid's MSNBC show, regular guest Elie Mystal says the 5-12% of African-Americans who don't support Democrats have "had their vote colonized by the Republicans, or by Russia." He adds, "you can't free everybody."

Apparently, the people at the liberal MSNBC channel don’t want their counterparts at CNN to feel lonely in the ratings cellar. Whether or not that was the motivation for the eight-week debut of the new Saturday Night Politics program, the results are still the same: low ratings and little interest in the 8 p.m. show hosted by frequent Morning Joe contributor Donny Deutsch.

Paul Krugman smeared the entire Republican Party as far-right and un-American in his Friday New York Times column, “The S Word, the F Word and the Election -- Guess which party is really un-American.” He ranted on: "Basically, if we saw something like America’s Republicans in another country, we’d classify them as white nationalist extremists."

On Thursday and Friday, several pundits took to MSNBC to warn that Democrats moving farther and farther to the left in the debates were “playing into this socialism theme that Donald Trump has come up with” and giving the President a “huge gift” for his reelection campaign. Some even declared Trump the winner of the debates.

The difference between patriots and Trump-deranged Hollywood elites is day and night. This morning, actor Jon Voight appeared on Fox and Friends with Gold Star mom Karen Vaughn -- mother of a slain Navy SEAL -- to speak about the July 4th “Rally for Freedom.” When asked about an Alyssa Milano tweet calling him a “has been” and an “F-lister,” Voight prayed for the good of his fellow actor. 

The View hosts briefly talked with 2020 Democrat candidate Mayor Pete Buttigieg on Friday’s show about his performance at last night’s debate. Co-host Joy Behar praised the Democrat while encouraging him to mock the right as ignorant to the virtues of “Democratic Socialism.”

CBS News online provided Democrats ammunition disguised as free advice and “facts” just ahead of their first debate. Supposedly wondering how the economy is “really doing,” CBS journalists Aimee Picchi, Alain Sherter, and Irina Ivanova glumly answered, “The first quarter of 2019 may be as good as it gets for quite a while.” 

During an exclusive network interview with California Senator Kamala Harris on Friday, CBS This Morning co-host and Democratic donor Gayle King couldn’t help sounding like an adoring fan as she gushed over the liberal lawmaker’s debate performance. The anchor wondered how Harris would “capitalize on that momentum.”

On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough, speaking as someone who unequivocally proclaimed "I want Donald Trump to lose," said that last night's debate was a "disaster" for Democrats. Scarborough made a four-pronged argument: first, Dems went after each other rather than attacking President Trump.
