On Monday, all three network morning shows hyped the possibility of former New York City mayor and liberal activist Michael Bloomberg entering the 2016 presidential race. However, only NBC’s Today made any mention of Bloomberg’s nationwide anti-gun crusade as a stumbling block for him.

MRC Research Director Rich Noyes appeared on Fox and Friends, Thursday, to decry journalists who aggressively defend the First Amendment, but support restrictions on the Second Amendment. Noyes and co-host Steve Doocy discussed legislation introduced by a South Carolina State Representative that would create a registry so only “responsible” journalists could report the news. 

With the liberal media continuing its full-court press obsession over the Donald Trump campaign and the endorsement of Sarah Palin, the “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC partnered with Spanish-language network Telemundo to ignore on Wednesday a new development in the Fast and Furious scandal as a weapon involved in the gun running was connected to the now-captured Mexican drug lord El Chapo.

On Tuesday, a federal judge who was appointed by President Obama himself ordered the Obama/Lynch Justice Department to turn over documents related to the "Fast and Furious" gunwalking scandal which the administration was claiming were exempt from congressional review because of executive privilege. None of the Big Three broadcast network evening newscasts so much as mentioned the development.

Batting lead-off on the post-Democratic debate coverage of their respective networks late Sunday, CNN’s Jeff Zeleny and FNC’s Ed Henry couldn’t have offered a larger contrast as Zeleny gushed that Hillary Clinton “pretty much dominated” Bernie Sanders on “the issues” while FNC’s Ed Henry observed that it was Sanders who “dominat[ed] the agenda” with “his best performance so far.”
