MSNBC breaking news host and ex-NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams was allowed out on MSNBC’s airwaves early Friday afternoon to discuss President Obama’s visit to Hiroshima and in the course of that, Williams threw some shade in the direction of the U.S. military and then-President Harry Truman by complaining that “we’re the only nation to have used them in anger” against the horrifying Axis…

The network morning shows on Friday all praised President Obama’s “historic visit” to Hiroshima, Japan – site of the first nuclear bombing – and him using the occasion to push his foreign policy agenda. Leading off NBC’s Today, announced: “Historic visit. President Obama becomes the first sitting U.S. President to travel to Hiroshima, site of the devastating atomic bombing.”

During a report on Thursday’s CBS This Morning about President Obama’s trip to Japan, correspondent Margaret Brennan noted: “Tomorrow, President Obama will make an historic trip to Hiroshima, a city that the U.S. devastated during World War II with the very first atomic bomb....he wants to underscore the risks still posed by nuclear weapons.”

MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews provided a laundry list of quotable utterances on Tuesday night that began right from the start when he likened the Clintons to “used cars” being “total[ed]” by Donald Trump by bringing up the Clinton’s checkered pasts and later when he compared Trump and Bernie Sanders to politicians in Third World countries.

The liberal media are all over one part of the Facebook scandal story - and ignoring another. Generally, media have covered the accusations that the social media site is censoring conservative news and sources from their trending news feed. Coincidentally, this is also the part of the Facebook story affecting the media.

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin opened his Monday program by excoriating the media for their proverbial leap “into the sewer” by obsessively covering the Sunday New York Times piece on Donald Trump’s treatment of women and instead ignoring revelations that there’s disturbing details being withheld from the American people about the capture of U.S. sailors by Iran in January.
