With 2022 being a midterm election year, and historical election precedent not being on their side, CBS decided to run a segment warning about Republicans in Michigan enacting voter identification laws as well as banning the Michigan secretary of state from sending vote by mail applications to registered voters unsolicited. 

On Tuesday’s edition of Deadline: White House, host Nicole Wallace invited PBS Washington Week anchor Yamiche Alcindor on the show to join her continuing obsession over the January 6th riots. During this segment, she made the ludicrous assertion that GOP state voting laws are causing a “January 6th that's happening every single day.” 

MSNBC White House correspondent Mike Memoli joined MTP Daily guest host Kristen Welker on Monday to preview what is to come in 2022. For Memoli, the early part of this year will be focused on Democrats' desire to push "voting rights" because they are "really in jeopardy" across the country."

2022 is the Biden Administration’s first (and maybe only?) midterm election year. The result of which will ultimately decide the fate of the rest of the Democratic Party’s agenda. Knowing this, ABC’s Good Morning America decided to lie to their viewers and bemoan election integrity laws that are being passed in certain states around the country.

On the last Friday night Week in Politics panel of 2021, the PBS NewsHour once again chose the topic that Democrats want to talk about right now: Voting rules. Once again, the Republicans are so horrible that New York Times columnist David Brooks -- the alleged moderate Republican-leaning regular of this group -- said the GOP is "a party that has slid down the toilet."

With a full year under her belt hosting MSNBC’s The ReidOut, far-left pundit and generally awful human being Joy Reid made her presence felt with a night-after-night hatefest against conservatives, Republicans, and anyone who stands in her way, painting them as enemies of the people. All in all, Reid ran a show with rhetoric bordering on incitement.

The Los Angeles Times is freaking out. TV critic Lorraine Ali (formerly of Newsweek) sounded the alarm under the headline “The crisis of democracy is a media crisis. And the mainstream press is losing”! The "mainstream" media isn't fighting the right-wing media. It "showed up to this poison-tipped knife fight with plastic sporks."

On Saturday's installment of Velshi on MSNBC, left-wing activist, provocateur, and PoliticsNation host Al Sharpton joined guest host Lindsey Reiser to say that the country is heading back to the days of Jim Crow and to criticize Democrats for not passing Sharpton's partisan wish list.

MTP Daily host Chuck Todd lamented on Thursday that President Biden's legislative agenda appears to be falling apart. In response to that, he plotted strategy with Democratic pollster Cornell Belcher and further lamented that, unlike Mitch McConnell, Democrats don't know how to play hardball.

CNN Newsroom hosts Victor Blackwell and Alisyn Camerota, along with a panel of assorted guests, criticized President Biden from the left on Friday in the aftermath of his Summit for Democracy. They accused him of preaching democracy to the world while not doing enough to protect democracy at home.

On MSNBC’s MTP Daily Thursday afternoon, host Chuck Todd wailed that while President Biden was hosting a virtual global summit on democracy, Republicans were trying to “subvert” democracy in the United States. He also lamented how Democrats haven’t yet federalized and rigged all elections in their favor to combat the supposed “crisis.”

On his Saturday show on MSNBC, Ali Velshi was utterly confused by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's claim that Stacey Abrams' stolen election conspiracy theories are no different than Donald Trump's. After all, voter suppression, unlike fraud, is a legitimate concern.

On her Twitter bio, NBC's Jane Timm describes herself as a "Senior reporter telling stories about voting rights." With such an activist description of herself, it was fitting that she joined Hallie Jackson Reports on MSNBC on Friday to question if corporations care about "voting rights." After all they are still giving money to Republicans.
