Amidst the amusing shout-outs to Hardball host Chris Matthews on the 20th anniversary of the show being on MSNBC, Thursday’s show provided a potpourri of nonsense in the form of two takes. One take pertained to fears that the public impeachment hearings won’t go as well as the left hopes and then the other comparedformer Attorney General Jeff Sessions to the ugly, racist George Wallace. 

The pompous “Democracy Dies in Darkness” paper published an opinion piece Nov. 7 that was so opposed to reality, you had to wonder if it was a joke. The article entitled, “Can Republicans relearn how to accept political outcomes they don’t like?” wasn’t a joke, even though it would’ve fit in perfectly as a satire piece for The Babylon Bee.

On Friday, journalists on NBC’s Today show and ABC’s Good Morning America were giddy as they touted nasty excerpts from the new book, A Warning, an anti-Trump screed from a supposed anonymous administration official. Despite not knowing the person’s identity or being able to verify a single claim in the book, reporters rushed to label it “explosive” and a “bombshell.”  

Cry me a river, CNN. And spare the rest of America your faux outrage. On Thursday afternoon’s CNN Newsroom, host Brooke Baldwin offered a heaping of liberal hypocrisy by feigning outrage and disgust at Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) calling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “dumb” at a Wednesday night Trump rally.

Journalists on Thursday’s network morning shows could barely contain their excitement over House Democrats announcing public impeachment hearings starting next week. Hosts and correspondents salivated over the political “drama” that would ensue when liberal lawmakers presented testimony against President Trump “in the most compelling way.”

By her excitement and choice of words, one could easily think failing-CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell was promoting a pay per view boxing or pro-wrestling match during Wednesday’s newscast.
