To lobby, or not to lobby? That’s no longer a question for pro-censorship Twitter. A group of tech companies, including Twitter, are looking to push their policy objectives. Pro-censorship Twitter and Vimeo are among five companies forming the “Open Internet Alliance” to advocate for specific legislation and regulation of the internet.

Republican lawmakers tore into Big Tech for censoring the New York Post’s October 2020 Hunter Biden laptop story on Thursday after The New York Times tied files on the computer to a federal investigation.

Big Tech censorship went from targeting statements of former President Donald Trump to targeting quotes of current President Biden’s embarrassing statements. Heritage Action was their latest target.
