On her MSNBC show today, discussing Republican criticism of Broward Election Supervisor Brenda Snipes, Joy Reid says: "here is the way they are treating Brenda Snipes, who is the long-time Election Supervisor there, who by the way is an older black woman in the Deep South."

It’s been eight years since Barack Obama was elected. So, you may be forgiven forgetting just how effusive journalists were towards the Democrat on election night. On the November 5, 2008 Good Morning America (the day after), Bill Weir gushed over Obama’s election: “Last night was transcendent.... Voices from around the world shouted the greatness of America.” 

NBC's Saturday Night Live is taking on a very sour look. It mocked its own Trump impersonator Alec Baldwin after he reportedly punched a man in the face in a parking-spot dispute. It mocked Fox News for faking news about the "caravan" after NBC aired fake news about Brett Kavanaugh raping women. And Pete Davidson mocked the looks of an Afghanistan war hero who lost an eye in a terrorist blast.

On Thursday's Cuomo Prime Time, CNN host Chris Cuomo ended his show with a commentary in which he complained about voters not makng gun control a higher priority when they voted a few days ago. He also declared that politicians who express "thoughts and prayers" after a mass shooting are mocking the victims.

As CBS informed viewers of a number of ballot initiatives that were passed in various states on Tuesday, both the CBS Evening News and the CBS This Morning on Wednesday only showed interest in cases in which liberals were victorious. By contrast, FNC's Special Report with Bret Baier and Fox and Friends gave attention to a mixture of both conservative and liberal victories.

As seen in the mashup, Morning Joe taunts  PresidentTrump with a barrage of insults, casting the election results as a huge loss for the President, and depicting him as "freaked-out, weak, battered, confused."

MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews opened Wednesday’s show following the midterm elections and the firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions on a tour de force, deeming Sessions’s axing “a lightning strike” by the President as he “struck out at his enemies,” including Special Counsel Robert Mueller because it “threatens Trump’s family, his presidency, and perhaps even his liberty.”
