So President Joe Biden has his first press conference as president this last week, over 60 days after becoming president. And the very first thing the White House press corps did was, but of course, display its lack of curiosity over why this was so. Not to mention pretend there was nothing out of the ordinary going on.

Where to begin?

On Tuesday morning, in the aftermath of the mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado, CNN's New Day show was hard at work peddling misinformation to promote plans by Democrats to enact more gun control in Congress.

Smug isn’t a good look for most comedians. NBC Late Night host Seth Meyers alleged early Thursday morning that those "demented" people who promote gun rights are perpetrating "one of the greatest cons" in history. He insisted against all modern legal rulings that the Second Amendment does not guarantee an individual right to bear arms. 

The Democrat-favoring "fact checker" websites are hard at work spinning for H.R. 1, the shameless attempt to federalize elections under the banner of "voting rights." Alayna Treene of the Washington-insider website Axios reported the National Republican Senatorial Committee will launch a "seven-figure ad campaign...targeting Democrats' effort to expand voting."

The first press conference for President Biden seemed more like a “press massage.” Yamiche Alcindor of PBS told Biden that immigrants were rushing across the border because of the perception he's a "moral, decent man" who can be trusted with unaccompanied minors. The whole event was embarrassing.

On Wednesday afternoon, MSNBC host Katy Tur used her show to promote the anti-gun efforts of two liberal guests, allowing them to misinform viewers while wrongly accusing gun rights advocates of spreading "lies."

NBC Late Night host Seth Meyers, trying to compensate for his lack of comedic talent, spent his late Thursday night show hurling childish insults at conservatives, instead.

On Thursday evening, CNN Tonight host Don Lemon suffered yet another anti-conservative meltdown on live television.

CBS’s election law expert on Friday upped that to “anti-American.” Appearing on CBS This Morning, he derided the whole state, despite admitting that the bill was a “mixed bag.”
