With 'Evening News' Skidding, CBS Could Give O’Donnell the Boot
In 2019, NewsBusters reported that in her first six weeks at the helm of CBS Evening News, anchor Norah O’Donnell was floundering in the ratings. A couple of years later and things weren’t much better. And according to a Sunday report by The New York Post, she was “in danger of losing” her job “as cost-slashing execs at the broadcasting giant quietly search for her replacement,” and internal…
Brian Williams Admits Press Are in a Liberal Bubble, Out of Touch
On Friday's The 11th Hour, for about 30 seconds, Brian Williams did something that is rare for him and other journalists to do as he admitted that the national news media live in a liberal bubble, mostly interact with others who are in the same bubble, and are therefore out of touch with a mostly red country.
ABC Tees Up Fauci to Deny, Lie About NIH Funding Risky Wuhan Research
Late last week, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) wrote a letter admitting that they funded controversial gain-of-function (GOF) research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology where they would take virus samples and make them more infectious to people for the purposes of learning how they acted. All of that was whitewashed by ABC as This Week host George Stephanopoulos teed up Dr. Anthony…
CNN Calls for Press to Ditch Objectivity, Portray GOP as Threat to US
CNN continued to escalate its dangerous rhetoric against Republicans on Sunday, as so-called “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter and LA Times columnist Jackie Calmes urged the press to ditch objectivity when reporting about Republicans and just portray them as threats to the country. She even claimed that’s not what she wanted to do while she actively called for it. This demand came,…
MSNBC Decries Republicans as 'Killers' and Fascists
Friday's edition of The 11th Hour on MSNBC devolved into hyperbolic name-calling when host Brian Williams compared Republicans to "killers" and the Lincoln Project's Steve Schmidt comparing them to fascists all while Democrats do nothing to stop them.
ABC, NBC Discover Close VA Governor Race, Rush to Back Dem McAuliffe
Over the weekend, ABC and NBC finally discovered the close gubernatorial race in Virginia between institutional Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican outsider Glenn Youngkin. And with the polls showing a dead heat between them, the networks adopted the talking points of the McAuliffe campaign as they railed against Youngkin as some kind of Donald Trump mini-me. At the same time, they ignored…
After Pushing Anti-Trump Vulgarity, WashPost Decries Let’s Go Brandon
In an amazingly tone-deaf and hypocritical Saturday article for the Washington Post, White House reporter Ashley Parker and reporter Carissa Wolf bemoaned how, across the country, President “Biden’s critics hurl increasingly vulgar taunts.” This, after the paper, spent four years actively promoting such comments against former President Trump. They even took issue with the non-vulgar “Let’s go…
Biden Builds a Wall...Around His Beach House – Media Fall Silent
Recall the extensive and scornful media coverage then-President Donald Trump received when he beefed up security around the White House? On and on - and on and on - went similar stories in the national media mocking Trump for building his “wall” around the White House. And famously, of course, President Biden has made it crystal clear he will not build a wall on the southern border. All of…
The Stories We Tell Ourselves
Narcissus was a beautiful hunter in ancient Greece. He shunned all romantic advances. None were as beautiful as he knew himself to be, so there was no reason for a relationship with anyone. Eventually, Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection in a pool of water by a stream. He stared so lovingly and longingly at himself, unmoved and unmoving, staying and staring till death. The gods…
‘American Optimist’ Illustrates What Makes Our Country Great
There's so much negative news these days. I was glad to see that a new podcast, “American Optimist,” features good things that are coming. It's hosted by Palantir founder and venture capitalist Joe Lonsdale. He interviews entrepreneurs like Sal Churi, who funds companies like Icon, which found a way to 3D print homes in just one day. The process is cool to watch. You can see it in my new video…
Variety, AP Brazenly Lie About Chappelle-Netflix Protest
August news sites spin desperately to protect vulgar, violent trans activists. Video circulated on social media yesterday showing an exchange between a Dave Chappelle supporter and trans activists. It wasn’t pretty.
20 Years Ago: ABC News Prez Had ‘No Opinion’ on Pentagon Terror Attack
Here’s a question that shouldn’t be hard for anyone: “[Was] the Pentagon a legitimate target?” But it wasn’t a simple one for then-ABC President David Westin exactly 20 years ago today. On October 23, 2001, at an event at Columbia University, Westin offered a sickening response to 9/11.
Capehart Lies That CRT Is Taught NOWHERE to Children in U.S. Schools
Liberals are still brazenly lying about this. On Friday's PBS NewsHour, panelist Jonathan Capehart insisted "Critical Race Theory is not taught in elementary schools, middle schools, or high schools anywhere in the United States. If it's taught at all, it is taught in law schools." They were closing out a Friday news roundup with talk about the Virginia governor's race, and Capehart said…
CNN's Oliver Darcy Tattles on Fox for Daring to Be Different Than CNN
Oliver Darcy of CNN's Media Unit attempted to tattle on Fox News Channel in their Tuesday night newsletter. His headline was "Guess which network didn't carry the 1/6 proceedings." CNN complains whenever Fox doesn’t do everything the way CNN would.
