I don’t know about you, but when we look for words of wisdom on world issues, we tend to shy away from anyone whose primary audience is toddlers on YouTube. In particular Rachel Griffin Accurso, better known as “Ms. Rachel,” who has once again inserted herself into an international firestorm, by calling on “every wealthy, white celebrity” to match her $1 million donation to support Palestine.
The call comes in the wake of rapper Macklemore’s removal from Ed Sheeran’s Loop tour after Macklemore called to “Free Palestine” during a 2-minute speech followed by a performance of his anti-Israel song Hinds Hall during his opening act at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sept. 4th and 5th.
After his dismissal, the rapper announced on Instagram he was donating his tour proceeds to six different charities, some with alleged terrorist ties- the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), HEAL Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, UNRWA USA National Committee and American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA).
Enter Accurso, who has 21.3 million subscribers on her “Toddler Learning Videos” YouTube channel, and who has faced controversy for inserting liberal politics into her children’s videos. She announced her plan on Instagram to match Macklemore’s donation, adding she wants “every wealthy, white celebrity to match it and speak out against the genocide in Gaza.” Because when you really care about children, of course you only want one particular class and race of people to support them. #MakeItMakeSense
As for misapplying the word “genocide,” as Accurso did, it only weakens its meaning, which we’ve seen happen with the left’s penchant for calling anyone who disagrees with them a “racist” or “Nazi.” There’s a difference between defense and genocide. No one likes war. No one wants war.
But Israel didn’t ask to be attacked on October 7. They have a duty to protect and defend the children of their nation, many of whom died that day in Gaza which, for whatever reason, didn’t incite Ms. Rachel or Macklemore to write a song or speak up in protest then, unfortunately.
It’s not that surprising that the YouTube star has faced scrutiny and calls for investigations into “spreading Hamas propaganda” long before this latest controversy.
Since 10/7, Ms. Rachel has pushed Hamas propaganda to millions - sharing debunked images, inflated casualty claims, and almost entirely ignoring Israeli child victims.

And if Ms. Rachel is truly concerned about genocide, what about the tens of thousands of Christian children who’ve been killed in places like Nigeria? Claiming to care about all children while focusing on only one, particular group is already a bit sus. But to also segregate who should donate only proves this is more about liberal virtue signaling than it is about truly supporting children in need.
For further proof of Accurso’s political bent and tendency to prefer emotional falsehoods over fact, we’ll leave you with these words from Fox News host Will Cain, who pointed out how Accurso was wrong on another controversial topic when she tried to turn the tragic suicides of a handful of black people into a racially-charged issue:

Hopefully the influencer goes back to playing peek-a-boo on camera with her toddler audience and stops using her platform to spread harmful, liberal propaganda.
