Add obnoxious leader of the girlband The Chicks (formerly called The Dixie Chicks), Natalie Maines, to the ridiculous list of D-list celebrities with Trump Derangement Syndrome. The liberal singer took to Instagram last week to call Trump a “fugly slut,” while spewing a political rant filled with typical leftist buzzwords. As they say in the south, bless her heart.
We all know how the press would pounce if Trump called this artist a "fugly slut."
In her latest episode of relevance-seeking, Maines claimed, "our democracy is disappearing right before our eyes,” that Trump is, “using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists," and implied the president is a pedophile because he’s frequently named in the Epstein files.
Our democracy is disappearing right before our eyes. This fugly slut is using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists. But don't worry about it. I'm sure posting selfies will fix everything. My last post that called him a fugly slut got removed. We'll see how long this one lasts. Repost and help the message live. Named 1M times in the #epsteinfiles #democracy #freespeech #fuglyslut
The post is giving major 2003 vibes, when Maines criticized Bush overseas and completely imploded her career by doing so. Some lessons are never learned, apparently. Also, we don’t endorse fat or ugly shaming but if you’re going to criticize someone else’s looks, you might want to check yourself in the mirror to make sure you look perfect first, Natalie.
Onto the Liberal Buzzword Palooza that was Maines’ post -- let’s start with the Epstein Files. Is it really a shock Trump is frequently named when Epstein held a grudge against him for banning him from Mar-a-Lago after Epstein reportedly hit on an underage girl there? Trump distanced himself from Epstein after that incident and wasn’t accused of any sexual misconduct in the files. Contrast that with Bill Clinton’s dozens of Lolita Express flights and far deeper documented ties. Nice try, Natalie. That isn’t the flex you think it is.
As for paying “insurrectionists,” Maines is referring to the $1.776 billion Anti-Weaponization Fund designed to compensate Americans who were targeted by the Biden-era DOJ’s lawfare machine. It’s not a blank check for window-smashing rioters. It’s a long-overdue pushback against selective prosecution of conservative supporters, pro-life activists and other peaceful protestors who were hit with the full weight of federal power while Antifa and BLM got a pass by a two-tiered justice system after the Left went around burning down cities.
Hundreds of innocent, non-violent people were charged with trespass-style misdemeanors and held in pre-trial detention for months on end after walking into an open building amid the chaos on January 6. Trump pardoned them because voters rejected the left’s “insurrectionist” narrative.
It’s also peak hypocrisy to blast Trump for higher gas prices when we all remember living under tortuous Biden-era inflation. Current higher gas prices are the result of Trump’s efforts to protect us by keeping nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorists. Under Biden, our gas money was used to fund green energy grifts, foreign DEI propaganda, and condoms in Gaza.
Lastly, “democracy” is another word liberals love to throw around as a scare tactic. If Maines truly cared about democracy, she would have spoken out against the left’s Big Tech censorship, federal interference in elections during Biden’s regime, or Biden’s weaponized lawfare.
Trump won because voters rejected liberal hypocrisy, chaos, inflation, open borders, and cultural insanity. The real threat to democracy isn't a president delivering on his promises. It's unelected bureaucrats, activist judges, and fading celebs who think their Instagram captions should override 70+ million ballots.
Here’s the thing, Natalie. The country has moved on without you, and it’s busy rebuilding itself after your party tried so hard to destroy it. Your relevance died right along with the band name you abandoned. While you’re busy recycling 2003-era meltdowns with fresher liberal buzzwords, Americans are enjoying the results of an election you clearly still can’t process.
