South Park Teases New Season with Kaepernick Version of National Anthem

September 13th, 2016 12:03 AM

South Park just tweeted a National Anthem-themed promo for the premiere of their 20th season to coincide with the kickoff of the San Francisco 49ers' Monday Night Football game where backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick continued his asinine protest of the Anthem.

The 30-second spot has the citizens of South Park standing at a stadium singing a "new" National Anthem that reflects the internal struggles that go on in the hearts of all white liberals who want to show solidarity with The Cause while also still taking advantage of the protection afforded by the police.

To the tune of "The Star-Spangled Banner"

Colin Kaepernick is great.

Cops are pigs, cops are pigs.

Wait, someone just took my stuff, I need to call the cops.

Oh, no, I just said cops are pigs.

Who’s gonna help me get my stuff?

Why did I listen to Colin Kaepernick,

He’s not even any good.

Oh, I just got all my stuff back

Cops are pigs again, cops are pigs.

Colin Kaepernick’s a good backup…

This harkens back to an episode from last season, "Naughty Ninjas," that saw the townspeople run the cops out of town only to realize they need them when “ISIS” takes over and homeless people start camping out outside Whole Foods.
