A few segments after MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews questioned why terrorists often turn to bombs as their weapons of choice, Matthews surprisingly hammered Democratic Congressman and possible Clinton running mate Xavier Becerra on the Benghazi Committee’s findings about the administration’s inability to save Americans trapped at the ill-fated consulate. 

On Tuesday, while all three network morning shows covered the newly-released House Benghazi Committee report, the broadcasts also dutifully parroted Democratic talking points attacking the credibility of the findings and concluded: “It does not appear to uncover conclusive evidence of wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton.”

Nigel Farage the leader of the UK Independence Party appeared on CNN Tuesday afternoon to discuss his support of Brexit, but was subjected to almost an interrogation-like interview from their reporter.  “How much damage are you prepared to see,” CNN’s Richard Quest demanded to know, “How much damage are you prepared to accept before you rebuild the house?”

The network newscasts have shown no interest in an ex-Secret Service agent’s unflattering portrayal of Bill and Hillary Clinton’s time at the White House. Gary Byrne, author of Crisis of Character, appeared on Fox’s Hannity, Monday, but has been all but invisible on ABC, CBS and NBC. 

All three networks on Tuesday hyped a possible Hillary Clinton/Elizabeth Warren presidential ticket, but the journalists on ABC’s Good Morning America were the most effusive. Former Democratic operative and Clinton Foundation donor George Stephanopoulos cheered, “Elizabeth Warren, certainly a  bold choice. An all woman ticket would be brand new.” 

Dehumanizing people only works one way for leftists. Michael Ian Black’s new children’s book, A Child’s First Book of Trump, explains the “wild” “beasties,” called the Trumps, to our “youngest citizens,” according to its satirical description. USA Today notes that while the book is supposedly for the youngest citizens, “Older citizens might need a primer too.”

Hillary Clinton trotted around Ohio Monday with Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, adding fuel to the speculation that Warren is going to be her VP pick. Monday on Andrea Mitchell Reports, the host salivated over the “magic on stage” at the Clinton/Warren rally Cincinnati earlier in the day. Mitchell and Anita Dunn, former White House communications director, went back and forth as they praised the pair for their “very real” chemistry on stage. They went on and on, suggesting the women looked like a “pretty good winning ticket for the fall” who…

Univision's fawning coverage of the Supreme court's ruling in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt shows the extent to which the network is both out of touch with its viewership and biased towards a progressive agenda.

Writing on The Washington Post’s Wonkblog early Monday morning, writer Emily Badger bemoaned the June 23 vote by the United Kingdom (U.K.) to leave the European Union (E.U.) as an example of a bad referendum because it gave voters power to decide something that involved “thorny debates we elect government officials to hash out.” 

Moments after the Supreme Court handed down a ruling on Monday morning that struck down a pro-life Texas law, MSNBC Live host Thomas Roberts brought on none other than former Democratic Texas State Senator and liberal hero Wendy Davis to discuss how she “was fighting back tears” seconds before her live shot and inquired about “where those pink sneakers are” from her 2013 filibuster for abortion.

ABC was the last of the “big three” networks to break in Monday morning with the Supreme Court’s ruling striking down a pro-life Texas law, but they didn’t hold back their approval as the assembled cast of smiling correspondents hailed the “fairly sweeping decision” and expressed glee at the “party right here” by abortion activists “lining up since 4:00 am. to witness this moment.”
