The journalists on Good Morning America, Thursday, eagerly touted a new poll finding that “most the country doesn’t like” Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. What did they ignore from their own survey? A majority of Americans aren't fond of Hillary Clinton either. Reporter Jon Karl trumpeted, “This poll looks at the Republican candidates and shows that the most of the country simply doesn't like them.” 

MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews almost never passes up the chance to bash Ted Cruz as a modern day Joe McCarthy and Wednesday night was no different as he flaunted the comparison while New York Daily News columnist Linda Stasi complained that Cruz’s allegations about mob ties to Donald Trump were “racist and disgusting.”

Our nation has been rocked, yet again, by news of horrific crimes committed against the most vulnerable among us- by individuals who are in this country illegally. Sadly, our domestic Spanish-language networks have once again chosen to be derelict in their duty to fully inform the community; by either hiding the suspects' immigration status if not blacking out the story altogether.

At the top of Wednesday’s NBC Today, co-host Savannah Guthrie hyped: “Grand Old Problems. New disarray for the Republican Party. Trump now calling the delegate rules a ‘disgrace.’ The head of the party telling Trump to, quote, ‘Give us all a break.’”

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Wednesday speculated that one reason Speaker of the House Paul Ryan disavowed any interest in the 2016 Republican nomination is because it’s “not worth having.” Talking to reporter Nancy Cordes, co-host Charlie Rose speculated, “Is it possible he thinks this is not a nomination worth having in this political year?” 

Now that the Republican campaign looks like it will last until a contested convention in Cleveland, Donald Trump and his supporters assert the whole system looks undemocratic. As part of an interview with GOP presidential candidate John Kasich that aired on Tuesday’s CBS Evening News, anchor Scott Pelley fretted that Kasich might “tear out ObamaCare, root and branch, start all over again” and signal to the American people that they will be “going to war” to defeat ISIS.
