The Regime Media are in the midst of rolling out a new immigration victimhood narrative, after embarrassing themselves and losing further standing over their absurd white knighting of the deported confirmed MS-13 gangbanger Kilmar Abrego Garcia. But if the Sunday Shows are any indication this new narrative- a hoax, actually: “Deported Citizen Babies”, is facing a similar result.

ABC This Week host Jonathan Karl interviewed Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) on Sunday all about their favorite illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia, but Karl never mentioned the trial about the murder of Maryland mother of five Rachel Morin by an illegal alien. POLL: What was the worst media take of the week? 

Journalists don't tell the Democrats to calm down. Typically, they encourage Democrats to scream about Trump as an autocrat. On Sunday's Meet the Press, Boston Globe senior opinion writer Kimberly Atkins Stohr was one of those leftist agitators, using the tariff turbulence as another opportunity to cry Tyranny.

Rare is the instance where you see blue-on-blue crime on the Legacy Media’s Sunday shows, but Politico’s Jonathan Martin gives us that rare outlier, in reaction to Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s face-shielding hijinks at The White House. In so doing, Martin hearkened back to another classic own-goal.

As media-consuming stories go, Signalgate went out with nary a whimper- barely lasting a week. In its place, the media now caterwaul over the reciprocal tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump, as Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discovered during his sit-down with NBC’s Kristen Welker on Meet the Depressed.

Over at NBC’s Meet the Depressed, host Kristen Welker is doing her level best to continue to frame the Trump administration’s resistance to runaway judicial encroachment on the executive as a “constitutional crisis”. This, during her interview with Senate Minority Leader CHuck Schumer (D-NY).

MSNBC Senior Washington Correspondent and incoming The Weekend Host Eugene Daniels gave us a preview of what to expect, as he lamented the “missed opportunity” by Democrats while on the Meet the Press panel.

On the latest edition of NBC’s Meet the Depressed, Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin shut down host Kristen Welker’s pressure over the reduction of the federal workforce. Thus continues the media’s campaign to advocate for fired government workers in a way they’ve never done for any other workers.

Morning Joe devoted a segment today to fretting over Trump arranging peace talks with Russia on Ukraine without, at this stage, the participation of Ukrainian officials.  But the show ignored Zelensky's stunning statement: that Putin is "afraid" of Trump and that while Putin is a "liar," Trump can push him into peace negotiations because he is "scared" of Trump, who is "strong."

On the most recent edition of NBC’s Meet the Depressed, host Kristen Welker tried to guilt-trip Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) over his vote for the Laken Riley Act, which President Donald Trump signed into law. Welker quickly found that Kelly wasn’t going to take the bait:

As the sun sets on the Biden presidency, the Regime Media has turned their focus on his legacy. Across the dial, Sunday programming discussing his legacy turned mostly funereal.  

The horrific California wildfires have left many stories in their terrifying wake: some heartbreaking, some inspirational, with many more to be told as the fires continue to burn. In addition to reporting these, the media seem bent on telling another story: that of Governor Gavin Newsom as a competent state executive completely in control and proactively responding to the fires.
