MSNBC’s Hardball took quite a bizarre turn on Tuesday when far-left MSNBC contributor Zerlina Maxwell attempted to sing the praises of colleague Malcolm Nance when fellow panelist Andrew Sullivan blurted out “Jesus Lord” in disgust that Maxwell (or presumably anyone) would cite such a “complete fantasist” who “spreads so many conspiracy theories and nonsense.”
MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch sure managed to pack an awful lot of anti-Trump venom into a thirty-second soliloquy. Appearing on Deadline: White House Wednesday, Deutsch asserted that “history will really frown on the Republicans” before describing President Trump as a “slimeball.” Deutsch’s rant came as part of a larger conversation about the House Democrats’ new obsession with money laundering when it comes to the Russia probe.
On Monday, the third hour of the Today show brought on a pair of left-wing MSNBC political analysts to react to the growing racial scandal embroiling Virginia Democratic Governor Ralph Northam. While both of them appropriately condemned an offensive blackface picture featured on Northam’s 1984 college yearbook page, they also argued that President Trump was somehow to blame for the controversy.
In similar fashion to their fellow lefties at CNN, MSNBC Live was beside itself on Thursday afternoon after President Trump’s letter canceling Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s overseas visits to Afghanistan, Brussels, and Egypt. Host Katy Tur and assembled panelists blasted the “childish” “man baby” of a President for actions further illustrating the need for his removal via impeachment or the 25th Amendment.
On Monday afternoon, MSNBC host Katy Tur gave a commentary in which she fretted that her life may be "pointless" because news anchors like her do not cover "climate change" every day as she also predicted wildfires and storms will keep getting worse because of human activity. She then brought aboard global warming alarmist Michael Mann and gave him an unchallenged forum to complain about inaction as the two alleged that there is no longer any scientific debate over the matter.
During Monday morning’s MSNBC Live, host Craig Melvin sat down with MSNBC political analyst and SiriusXM progressive programming director Zerlina Maxwell to discuss Michelle Obama’s new book Becoming and Mrs. Obama's interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts. Roberts pressed Obama on her statement wondering “why so many women” chose to “reject an exceptionally qualified female candidate and instead choose a misogynist as their President.” Melvin asked Maxwell to weigh in and she echoed Mrs. Obama’s talking points, lamenting “the fact that we elected someone who had no qualifications to be President, who was running against a woman with a laundry list of qualifications to be President and instead America...chose to give the Electoral College to the person with no experience, who happened to be a man, just like all the other Presidents.” According to Maxwell, “what Michelle Obama is highlighting is the fact that that in and of itself is misogynistic and sexist.”
Desperate to defend Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren’s disastrous political stunt of taking a DNA test to try to prove Native American heritage, late Thursday morning, MSNBC Political Analyst and SiriusXM Director of Progressive Programming Zerlina Maxwell actually insinuated that the Cherokee Nation was racist, following their statement condemning Warren.
It was quite the bizarre combination of insults on Thursday’s Hardball as MSNBC host Chris Matthews not only called President Trump a “claptrap” and resurrected an old take about Trump resembling Benito Mussolini, but offered an even crazier take that Trump claps for himself like Chinese people supposedly do.
During Sunday’s edition of MSNBC Live With Yasmin Vossoughian, the panel had few kind words about Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. Guest Danielle Moodie-Mills remarked on guest host Richard Lui’s comment that President Trump had a very good week, saying “it’s just funny to me that a good week for Donald Trump is a horrible week for our democracy and the American public.” Mills added that “if this President is proud of a stolen seat and proud of now two sexual predators being on the Supreme Court, that is not a legacy that I would want” before expressing her desire for a “blue tsunami.”
Tuesday’s Hardball saw host Chris Matthews and a few of his guests come locked and loaded for battle, illustrating the left’s rabid desire to convict Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh in the court of public opinion and perhaps a future court of law based on, at best, wobbly evidence. With cameos from SiriusXM’s Zerlina Maxwell and everyone’s favorite fake Republican in The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin, Matthews had plenty of help in the assassination of Kavanaugh’s character plus those who support him.
Often inaccurate MSNBC host Katy Tur had the knives out from the get-go during Monday’s MTP Daily. From the opening intro, she was looking to get a piece of White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, even going so far as to question why the former Marine Corp general continued to be employed by the White House. Tur and her panel essentially were calling for the Gold Star father to be fired.
Reacting on Wednesday’s Hardball to the anonymous Trump official’s self-serving New York Times op-ed, MSNBC host Chris Matthews compared it to the same clarion call offered by George Kennan in 1946 on containing communism while panelists Steve Schmidt seemingly read from a thesaurus to attack the Trump administration and Zerlina Maxwell urged the need for impeachment proceedings.
