Over the past week, CNN has aired more than two dozen stories inviting speculation and gossip about the supposedly mysterious "disappearance" of First Lady Melania Trump, who has been recuperating from kidney surgery.
The first lady’s absence might just be because President Trump is abusing her – according to media figures who could offer no proof whatsoever. Since the end of May, several media figures have suggested President Trump abused First Lady Melania Trump after she stayed out of the public eye following her kidney surgery. A Rolling Stone writer suggested Trump was “concealing abuse” while a Salon writer agreed it “could be an abuse thing.” One professor even asked the president in a tweet, “Break her jaw? An eye socket? Did you kick her in the back?”
Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson was on fire from the get-go Tuesday night, as he took the liberal media to task for pushing outlandish and wicked conspiracy theories regarding Melania Trump’s health and suggesting her marriage was abusive.
We've come a long way from harmless playground jibes like “your mother wears combat boots,” to those of today from the likes of Samantha Bee and other leftist “entertainers” who say things about President Trump and his family that are so vulgar they can't be printed in a newspaper or quoted on television.
Wednesday’s Full Frontal on TBS was off the rails straight from the get-go as host Samantha Bee railed against the Trump administration for enforced tough immigration policies. After smearing the President, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and First Lady Melania Trump, Bee turned her twisted sights on Ivanka Trump and begged her to seduce her father to get him to change his policies. On top of that, she described the President’s daughter as a “feckless c**t.” How pathetic.
Need more evidence that there are two Americas? Here: Left-wing hatred of Melania Trump is inversely proportional to flyover admiration for the first lady. In just the last month, late-night clown Jimmy Kimmel mocked Trump's Slovenian accent, CNN contributor April Ryan attacked her as "not culturally American," former Hillary Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines derided her genteel presence at former first lady Barbara Bush's funeral, and horror writer Stephen King snickered at her hospitalization this week for kidney surgery.
Trump Derangement Syndrome can really take a toll on people. Unfortunately, that was evident on Monday’s CNN Tonight as CNN political analysts and White House Briefing Room rabble-rousers Brian Karem and April Ryan hijacked a segment meant to discuss First Lady Melania Trump’s surgery to whine about the President’s tweeting habits and his refusal to hold press conferences.
Arguably it is the single most laughable thing that liberals do -- piously ooze purported concern for babies while otherwise elevating abortion on demand to a sacred right that must be defended at all costs. No leftist in media better evokes this perverted dynamic than MSNBC's clownish master of smarm, Rachel Maddow. Her most recent example might well have set a record for cringes among conservatives who comprise a sliver of her audience.
Stephanie Ruhle lost her grip on reality Tuesday morning when she attempted to draw a contrast between First Lady Melania Trump’s new “Be Best” initiative for children and President Trump’s policies. The MSNBC host’s diatribe featured the absurd claim that enforcing existing immigration laws and cutting taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood would hurt children.
First Lady Melania Trump held a White House gathering in the Rose Garden on Monday to launch her new ‘Be Best’ campaign focused on the well-being of children, the opioid crisis, and the positive usage of social media. Of course, the liberal media can’t let a good opportunity to bash the President go to waste. Instead of focusing on the First Lady’s initiative, ABC spent twice the time in their report questioning her marriage amid the Stormy Daniels saga. And on NBC, they spent more time talking about how hypocritical it was for her to care about cyberbullying considering who her husband was.
Joy Behar took a nasty shot at Melania Trump on Thursday’s The View and token conservative Meghan McCain fired back, deriding her liberal co-host as “so mean.” The women were discussing the latest on Stormy Daniels. Behar mocked: “Today is Melania's birthday. Happy birthday, Melania.”
CBS Evening News ended Tuesday’s program with a report highlighting that night’s state dinner at the White House and the behind-the-scenes efforts of First Lady Melania Trump to pull it off. But in the middle of the segment, reporter Jan Crawford pointed out what many considered a blatant double standard from the media, in that Mrs. Trump has been on the cover far fewer American magazines when compared to Michelle Obama.
