NYT 'News'? ‘Senator’s Star Shines as Nation Unites Behind Her Cause'

December 18th, 2017 3:19 PM
The New York Times penned an earnest hymn to the Democrats’ latest feminist presidential hope, the newly “progressive” heroine Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York. Shane Goldmacher, recently of Politico, and Matt Flegenheimer, a familiar byline at NewsBusters, launched Gillibrand’s potential 2020 campaign (joining previous Times feminist presidential hopefuls, Sen. Kamala Harris and…

Lefty Media Outlets Assail Trump for Harassment, Excuse Lib Offenders

December 16th, 2017 4:00 PM
What is the matter with these people? This has been discussed elsewhere, but with more of the same nonsense since the subject of one of the latest presidential tweets will not go away, let’s continue. Here is the now-famous tweet. (Actually, there are now a ton and a half of famous Trump tweets but this is one of the latest:

Thom Hartmann: Trump's Tweet Slamming Gillibrand is 'Impeachable'

December 14th, 2017 8:29 PM
Yeah, good luck with that. The perpetual outrage machine that is the left's pathological loathing for President Trump keeps reaching new lows in absurdity, albeit only on an hourly basis. Plenty of liberals have labeled Trump's tweet slamming Democrat Senator and potential 2020 opponent Kirsten Gillibrand as "sexual harassment." But liberal radio host Thom Hartmann went beyond that and described…

Awkward: Lauer Blasted Senator for Not 'Calling Out' Harassment

December 1st, 2017 4:59 PM
Well, this is awkward. Disgraced journalist Matt Lauer, who has been accused by multiple women of harassment and possible sexual assault, in 2014 blasted Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand for not “calling out” harassing colleagues in the Senate. Talking to the politician, the man who had a secret locking mechanism to trap young females in his office lectured, “And you didn't name names. Why?”

November 17th, 2017 10:32 AM

Rolling Stone Accidentally Reveals Kirsten Gillibrand as Pander Queen

September 6th, 2017 3:22 PM
As you see in the very title of their paean to junior senator from New York (D-of course), How Kirsten Gillibrand Is Outsmarting Donald Trump, they meant it to be entirely adulatory. However, the article's author, Tessa Stuart, was so blinded in admiration for her subject that she failed to notice that she accidentally revealed Gillibrand's utter duplicity.

PBS Anchor's Rare Question: Don't Democrats Have a Problem With Men?

October 9th, 2014 10:31 PM
Like the other networks, the PBS NewsHour has been very slow to offer any stories or interviews to the midterm elections. In October, the closest thing to a candidate interview was a chat with Rep. Paul Ryan on October 1. On Tuesday, anchor Judy Woodruff promoted liberal Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), a potential presidential candidate if you listen to the pundits -- but she's not on the…

MSNBC.com: Inouye Was 'Advocate for Women,' 'Favorite' of Gillibrand's

September 22nd, 2014 4:10 PM
It turns out the politician who called colleague Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) "chubby" and admonished her not to lose too much weight is none other than the late Sen. Daniel Inouye. So naturally when covering the story, MSNBC.com's Michele Richinick made sure to soften the blow against the late Hawaiian Democrat by tagging him as a longtime "advocate of women."

Two days after U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand refused to identify the men in Congress who made sexist comments regarding her weight after the birth of her second child as described in her book Off the Sidelines, the Democratic politician from New York received support from an interesting source: feminist Amanda Marcotte. January 14th, 2014 7:36 PM
On a special edition of All In with Chris Hayes on Monday, January 13, MSNBC host Hayes and NBC's Maria Shriver devoted the hour to a discussion of poverty in America, 50 years after President Johnson announced the "War on Poverty." At one point, the two gave New York Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand an unchallenged forum to push for paid family medical leave, without any concerns about…

Gillibrand on 'This Week': 'We All Knew' That 'Keep Your Plan' Wasn't

November 18th, 2013 10:19 AM
Well, that settles it. Sunday on ABC's "This Week" (video here) New York Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand admitted that "We all knew" that Obamacare's core guarantee — "If you like your plan-doctor-provider, you can keep your plan-doctor-provider" — was false. That's "we" as in "all of us Democrats." There's no wiggle room in what Gillibrand said, as will be demonstrated after the jump.…
