CNN was off the wall prior to President Obama’s farewell address as OutFront host Erin Burnett lauded “an emotional night” for the President’s most ardent supporters while an former Obama administration official compared him to Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: A New Hope when he was struck down by Darth Vader. 

To the surprise of probably no one who visits NewsBusters, CBS and NBC went soft in their Tuesday evening newscasts previewing President Obama’s farewell address, touting Obama as having been “the embodiment of hope and the personification of change.”

For weeks, the liberal media have celebrated all that Barack Obama means...to them. CNN produced a two-hour documentary on the Obama legacy that never mentioned things like annual trillion-dollar deficits.
