Even the awards shows on PBS have a liberal bias. Julia Louis-Dreyfus accepted the Mark Twain Prize for Humor from the Kennedy Center in Washington on October 21. In the ceremony, which airs on PBS stations, the actress slammed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh (and critics of Obamacare).

On Friday's PBS NewsHour, liberal analyst and columnist Mark Shields took a position for civility, arguing that Kavanaugh critics on the Left shouldn't be protesting after the fight has ended. The Supreme Court is too important for ongoing agitation:

Resuming the confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh Tuesday afternoon, Republican Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley blasted his Democratic colleagues and their liberal media allies for blatant hypocrisy when it came to criticism of the judicial branch of government, pointing to routine attacks on conservative Supreme Court justices.

PBS host Christiane Amanpour appeared puzzled as to why NBC spiked Ronan Farrow’s investigation into powerful Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. Discussing the disgraced Democratic donor on Monday, Amanpour asked the journalist: “Why do you think the media entities [spiked the story]? Our DNA is to be investigative. What was it about the media that wanted you not to tell these stories?”

Proving he really has nothing nice to say about anyone on the right, Late Show host Stephen Colbert attacked Speaker of the House Paul Ryan after discovering Ryan was part Jewish on the PBS show, “Finding Your Roots.” Colbert attacked Ryan in a gross and petty segment on August 1 show, crassly offering to circumcise the Republican on-air.
