It’s now been 12 days since the Department of Homeland Security announced what amounts to an Orwellian attempt at muzzling free speech, a disinformation board that will ramp up in the midst of an important midterm election year. But since April 27, the morning and evening newscasts have stayed silent on the board and Nina Jankowicz, the partisan, hard-left Democrat who is to run it. 

For the third night in a row, NBC’s Seth Meyers lamented that Roe v. Wade may soon fall and on the Thursday edition of Late Night decried that “An extremist movement of far-right conservatives has spent five decades carefully orchestrating the outcome we're seeing now.”

On Thursday, the NBC, ABC, and CBS morning shows all happily seized on President Biden issuing a supposed “warning” about how “extreme” the Republican Party has become when it comes to standing up for the rights of unborn children. Rather than challenge or fact-check the nasty, partisan, and divisive rhetoric coming from the President, the networks simply cited him as if he were a neutral…

As if references to the Taliban and The Handmaid’s Tale were not enough, three of late night’s alleged comedians were back at it on Wednesday night for another round of outrageous commentary on Justice Alito’s leaked draft opinion that may overturn Roe v. Wade.

At the end of his nightly newscast, NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt decided to lecture Americans for not giving up their “free will” and bowing down to every government mandate or guidance related to the COVID-19 pandemic, even suggesting that their non-compliance is to blame for the one million deaths he claims his network has tallied to date. 

On Wednesday, the network morning shows went all in pushing left-wing spin that the issue of abortion would rescue failing Democrats from massive midterm losses in November. Reporters proclaimed a “seismic shift” was in the works following a leaked draft opinion suggesting the Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade and ghoulishly cheered Democrats raising “millions of dollars” by fearmongering…

In the first 24 hours after the leaking of a draft ruling showing the Supreme Court appears ready to overturn Roe vs. Wade, all three networks melted down over the “conservatives” on the court, labeling them a whopping 28 times. On these same shows, there were only three “liberal” labels and all of them came from CBS.

On NBC’s Today show Tuesday morning, co-host Savannah Guthrie sat down for an exclusive interview with billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates and fretted that his fellow billionaire Elon Musk taking over Twitter would lead to a surge in “misinformation.” She pushed that fear after complaining that the response to the pandemic has “been so politicized.”
